First off, you don't want a TV that has a native resolution of 1080i. Get a 720p, and due to the fact that you're only looking to get a 32", don't ever get a 1080p for a TV that small. You can only tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on TV's that are 55-60". Don't listen to what anyone else says. It's a waste of money to get a 32" 1080p TV when you could spend hundreds less and get a 720p. Don't believe me? Do some research.

There are many TV's that I like but it all depends on how much you want to spend. Samsung seem the best of the cheaper brands plus you get a 3 year no dead pixel warranty. But if you want to spend a bit more look ant Panasonic. They have great picture quality.

I got a Sharp 32'' 720P for 600. Awesome tv with a great picture quality. Like the person earlier said if you get one below 40'' 720P is prefect you won't notice the difference. Also remeber to get a HDMI calbe, it makes the world of difference from the standard AV calbes that sony gives.

I got a 20 inch Insignia LCD TV, Native resolution is 720p and can go up to 1080i for 200$.

They have a nice picture and are pretty affordable, I saw a 30 incher for around 500$ im almost certain it was an LCD as well
