what makes the ps3 unique?

I have been on the xbox 360 forum and i have asked the same question. I have also been on system wars. the ps3 forum is my last stop and after this i am off to my local gamestop.

almost 90% of the people have said that it all comes down to what games i want. well for me its not just the games, i also like the features of what each system has to offer and what makes them different from one another

lol, agreed. PS3 has lots of great games. Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Unreal Tournament 3, Folklor, Motorstorm, RFOM, Ratchet and Clank Future, F1 Championship Edition, and thats just exclusives that are already out.

It does not play HD-DVD. You need a stand alone player or the 360 add on to do that.

lol, agreed. PS3 has lots of great games. Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Unreal Tournament 3, Folklor, Motorstorm, RFOM, Ratchet and Clank Future, F1 Championship Edition, and thats just exclusives that are already out.

Considering the PS3 has been out over a year, that's not a really impressive list. I don't think any of those are really system sellers, at least not in my book. Not to mention the poor ports of alot of big games.....like the Half Life Orange Box.

nothing to be honest. the 360 and PS3 are practicly identical except i find the 360 more user friendly and has a better online service even if you have to pay for it. And the sixaxis isnt all that well implemented in games.

Its just a mather of game. What exclusive titles do you like more. ther wont be that many since most will be multi platfor this gen. in short, you cant go wrong whit eather the PS3 or the 360 if those are the ones your looking at.

It don't matter....what matters is what the system offers now, to people buying it. IN that regard, the 360 absolutely kills the PS3 in the games department.

Still, Gears of War was probably a bigger system seller than anything on the PS3, yet.

Hell even the online experience/multimedia capabilities weren't very good at launch.CellAnimation

The online was awesome at launch and the multimedia capabilities are still crap on both systems

I bought one at launch too, the thing broke on me 2 days later, so i returned it and saved the money for my PS3. IDK why people think the 360 had this fabulous launch lineup, i mean PDZ sucked, it just did. Right now PS3 is higher imo, i don't need to have every exclusive be a shooter, thats just boring. PS3 has the biggest variety of exclusives, and all of which are great (even Lair was pretty good imo.)

and ditto on the flamebait thing, i'll never get to lvl 27 with any more point deductions.

A 400 game library means nothing when only 4 games are worth playing.emitsu97
