in game music....especially for fps. A good soundtrack pulls you into the intensity.
Now for racing games...depends on what mood I'm in. lolÂ
I personally never found FPS games- especially for fast paced and/or gory ones- ever to have a fitting sound track. I'm sorry, but I definately think you gotta have some REALLY heavy, or ridiculously light unicorn/barney/disney music- you get the idea (For the contrast).RoganSarine
well then we differ greatly in that aspect I suppose. lolÂ
Is it possible to listen to music on your PS3 HDD while you play a PS3 game?MrMetts
Not as of now.

hey to each their own man...if I was going for that effect I'd toss on some Johann Pachelbel.Â
It depends. On a lot of games I simply turn off the in game music and just have the ambient sounds on.caseystryker
Yeah me too, especially in Oblivion. I really like how quiet and almost peacful the music in spider man 3 is, i think the game was really under rated i mean the guy who reviewed it at IGN sounded like he just really sucked at it.
Well depending on the game.
Â
But I know on PC I listen to GWAR, Deftones, Jimi Hendrix and so on when I play FPS games and RTS games. It gets annoying trying to play music to COD3 for PS3, cause you can't turn the music off:evil:
Â
RPGs in game, Metal Gear games or something that requires your full atttention, no music at all.
eeh. i listen to the In-game music? why? because i don't want to kill Germans while listening to Weird Al. zeforgotten
HAHA niceÂ

black betty w/ NFShiren_nfsmw
so in game music...
sucks they didn't use the original version of black betty by ram jam but there are a few too many breaks for it to be in a racing game.Â
I listen to Ashley Tisdale while playing Resistance... :?freakyzeeky1986
shes soooooooooo fine, big nose though
SIngle Player I use ingame music cos it warns you about things and builds atmosphere
Multiplayer it's either ENTER SHIKARI (An Awesom English Band From My Home Town Who Have Outsold The Kaiserchiefs Last Album www.myspace.com/entershikari) or Linkin Parks new album that i got today
