COD4's has a short single player, but it is quality.
Now, after you finish that, there is a beefy online experience. It is a worth sucessor to Counter Strike. The game has a leveling system that actually pays off (unlike Warhawk's) where you gain more and more weapons and perks. Simply addictive and I love the sound it makes when you complete challenges. Its like a T-Rex roar!
if i owned call of duty 4 i would be online on the game all the time, it is fantastic. i own warhawk and it's also very good but lacks the rewards of kicking ass.
I play UT3 and Warhawk most often but sometimes I throw down some R:fom. Too bad TF2 was a huge disappointment. It is fun but the lack of maps and modes hurts. Plus I am so tired of playing 2fort that if I ever see that map again argh
