Give me six months and I might be able to get back to you with something ... maybe ... possibly ... hopefully?:(
Maybe LittleBigPlanet. It's been sounding pretty good from just about everyone who's had some time with it.
For a while now I suspect that when GS rates an exclusivePS3 game, they automatically knock it down one point as a penalty for being on the PS3:lol:
Heavenly Sword is a great example. Read their review and tell me if it sounded like an 8. The only real complaint they had was that it was kinda short. Funny that you'll find many games that are also short that got a 9 or higher.

Uncharted, MGS 4, Final Fan 13, maaaaaaybe Haze, maybe R&C. I think R&C will get an 8.5 because for some reason this gen "replay value" is the buzzword, and SP-only games somehow have no replay value
I don't understand that. I mean do you only watch a movie one time? A mystery movie where everything hinges on a plot twist has less repeat viewing value than something you can just throw on like a great comedy, the same standards should apply to games. To me, Heavenly Sword has tremendous replay value. I have beaten it three times all the way though, and played through many of my favorite parts as many as a dozen times, maybe more. Unlocking stupid medals and costumes doesn't constitute "replay value", to me. Whether or not a game is good and will be fun enough to play more than once does constitute replay value. I don't think games like God of War should be expected to package in some multiplayer and 40 different modes. In a shooter like the Orange Box, it works, but platformers, actioners, etc. just don't work like that.
Anyway, I don't want to get off on a rant here, but America's foreign policy makes about as much sense as Beowulf having sex with Robert Fulton at the first battle of Antietam.
I mean when a neo-conservative defenestrates it's like Raskolnikov filibuster deoxymonohydroxinate.
ill go with none. they always find something to **** aboutgsf
Sadly, I think you might be right. Lately it's been feeling like we won't get a AAAE until MGS and FF and even then it's not guaranteed. They will find something to nitpick, yet they gloss over all of Halo's shortcomings. Their reviews are becoming less and less reliable, but it's too bad they don't have any real good competition, because until a more reliable review site comes up, GS is still pretty much the only player in the game.
i don't know. i really don't want to think that way. getting excited for an upcoming great score from this site is just setting yourself up for a disappointment.
We'll see what happens, but i'm just gonna stay outta of this one... MGS.....ahh i'm not gonna go there.
but one thing i know is they better give a PS3 game 9and up score, not that score matter to me, but they better. *bastards*

[/QUOTE HS is fantastic, but it's short, what do you want from them? I assume you are claiming Gears is as short, and I can assure you it was longer, I own both of em.IMHO i would say that even MGS4 wouldn't get a 9 here at GS, i mean just look at MGS3 which was amazing, it didn't even get a 9.
but my ever hopefull side would say the R&C, Uncharted, Haze, Time Crisis 4(it really is shaping up nicely, its a longshot but just maybe) MGS4, Killzone 2, FFXIII, LBP, GoW3, Gran Turismo 5, Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 4(if it doesn't suck as bad as 3 which still got a decent score), that would be my 9.0 wishlist of course probably half at least won't get 9's.
killzone-9.2
ratchet and clank-9.1
ff13-9.3
uncharted-9.0
mgs-9.4
i can see haze getting beetween 8.8-9.1 aswell
if they still used the old system. gamespot is the most biasest site on the internet towards ps3 i think the official 360 website would rate games like HS and warhawk higher.
