Keep in mind there are other colors, lets get some Wiki..
PlayStation Portable is currently available in six colors. They are in black, ceramic white, pink, metallic blue, silver, and champagne gold. The ceramic white variation is available in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, while the pink variation is available only in Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. The silver and metallic blue variations were released on 14 December2006 and 21 December2006 respectively in Japan and Hong Kong exclusively. Metallic Silver and Gold colors are due out later this year in Europe.[7] A "champagne gold" colored PSP was released in Japan and Hong Kong on 22 February2007.[8] The PSP was available in a camouflage livery in the MGS:PO special packaging on October 30, 2006.

Now we're talking! I am going to stick with my original PsP. The features of the slimline version thats coming out just don't interest me enough to warrant my buying it- at least not yet! I also think that with all this homebrew stuff going on with the current model of PsP, SONY probably set the new model PsP up with some kind of security feature that won't allow any more hacks (NOT saying I support that homebrew sort of thing! Just giving a point of view or whatever). Anyway, until I see something that actually draws my attention- like a second analog controller and two more shoulder buttons, or larger onboard memory, or even a touch screen-I'm keeping what I've got. If anything I will trade it out for a current model PsP in champagne gold. Or get a faceplate and pretend like I've got something brand new. On second thought, tho, maybe I will. U should never say never.

Umm thats cool and all but those are collors for the current model of PSP not the new one.
I am getting the Silver!! I want the Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron bundle, but I don't want it to turn colors like yellow or black after 6 months of non stop playing. I am glad I traded my old PSP in a month ago, you guys called me a fool but I get the last laugh. I wish the Star Wars came with the Silver PSP because I really want them both but not the vadar system. It's going to cost more because rather than getting the game AND console for $199 It looks like im going to have to get the silver for $199 AND the game which no one knows so ill assume $50.. what about you what is your plan?RonMaverick804where did you trade in your psp and how much did you get for it?
I'm definitely picking up the Ice Silver Entertainment Pack.
I like the Ceramic White color a bit more, but I don't like the Darth Vader print on the back, it looks a bit tacked on (it's not like it's on the face of the psp), and the Silver PSP pack gives you a whole lot more for your buck.
Once I get the new slim psp, it'll be my first time owning one (glad I waited), so I'm gonna pcik up these other games also:
GTA Vice City Stories
MGS Portable Ops
Lumines 2
Ratchet and Clank Size Matters
Later Releases I'm picking up:
Silent Hill Origins
God of War psp
Castlevania
I want the white Darth Vader PSP. But does anyone know whether or not it has that "clear layer" similar to the DS lite? I don't want Darth Vader being worn off the back from my fingertips or from being set down on hard surfaces.MetalGearRex007
That "clear layer" is double injected plastic. The Darth Vader logo quoted as being silkscreened on to the psp. Although this is durable im sure it will at some point start to wear off. Unless they clear coated the top. Personally I'd rather silkscreen my own image for free.
