Hmm, I am suprised that alot of you have it set on 1080i. My PS3 is getting here Wednesday, and I only have a 1080i tv. They still haven't fix that 1080i problem right?

I am going to get one out of these three: Resistance, Ninja Sigma, Rainbow Six. I think Resistance and RB6 have that problem, so my only choice is to get Ninja Gaiden, correct?

720p when on my 768p 32inch LCD (AS THERE ARE NO 1080i LCDS)

and 1080p when on my new 65inch DLP

Yeah, that is strange when you think about most games run in 720p. I mean it's not like the 360 where you set one resolution and forget about it, the PS3 changes the resolution depending on the game, so there's not one setting per say people use.

I guess most people have it set as high as 1080i when they say that, but really, do that many people here have older CRT 1080i HDTVs? Otherwise I don't see the reason for having 1080i on. To be specific, everyone runs 720p only games at 720p, and for 1080p games, then whatever the highest res the console is set to.
