Does sony offer any utility to transfer games from UMD to pspgo?

As of now they don't. They have some problems with the copyright issue I think or something. Not sure, forgot already.
It's gonna be awhile before sony releases a utility program. Who knows...
At the very least, you should be able to send them to Sony where they would in turn give you a dollar for dollar amount in the psn store.
That's really a hassle. I was thinking to get a pspgo when upgrading my existing psp, perhaps I should get another psp 3000 instead. Is sony going to release a new version of psp with umd support in the near (or not so near) future?

I agree, and they pay for shipping and handling. I never knew about this. Is there a link about it. That's pretty good.Sell your UMDs online and use the money earned to rebuy some of your games.

like sell 10, buy 1 on the psn network....... no thanks. you keep the umd games and your psp. you'll regret it if u sell them IMO

It's hypothetical... it would be nice if they had this, but they don't.I'd get the 3000. I can't imagine Sony releasing a newer PSP and re-introducing the UMD drive. They're apparently in the middle of trying to relaunch the Go.That's really a hassle. I was thinking to get a pspgo when upgrading my existing psp, perhaps I should get another psp 3000 instead.
