In case you didn't watch Sony's presentation for this year's E3: They're already working on motion wand controllers for the PS3 that are much better than Sixaxis.
and isnt it increasingly likely that they are extending the life of these consoles? i just watched something about that, they will probably just stay with the 360 and ps3 for a longer time and the wii might get an hd compatibility upgrade
hiii...there is very little they can do on graphics because its incredible on ps3..they can add motion sensor like there in nintendo wii....and lots of games!!!!!
This is the PS3 forum, seriously guys this PS4 crap is bumming me out. I heard 2012 is the next sony console and that they're already working on the PS4, if this is true I'm done with consoles...honestly. PS4 is for clowns, take that to system wars and shove it.
I want the PS3 to have multiple disk readers(the things that read the ps3 games). So instead of having one game in the PS3 I can have 5, so I will no longer have to get up to change the game, instead I can just sit on my couch and select a different game. Yes I am that lazy.

EXACTLY !! I was about to right that but yeaaaa. I hate it when I wanna play a different game but I have to stand up and switch it. But I think sony thought of that already but they wanted it on the ps4 so it can sell more.

"10 Year" life cycle for the PS3..apparently, 2015/16 at the earliest... I dont care. i love my ps3 and will do for many years to come :)
Although they most probably are working on its successor i wouldnt worry about it too much
"10 year life cycle" only means that the console will be supported for ten years. NOT that there won't be a successor in that time. In other words exactly the same deal as with the PS2, which Sony even specifically stated has a similar "life cycle".
I read earlier that they could've put out PS2.5 instead of the PS3 and didn't, but I think thats exactly what they should do with PS4. Pretty much everything in the PS3 is ahead of its time, so if they just throw a beefed up CELL in there, add more ram, and charge half the price, they would be on top again in no time!

i got an idea make it so u can save all the data on the disk so u can just pik the game while the cd is gathering dust in ur room
