I plan to have money for a Vita by next Thursday, and then an extra $100. I would like to get a game with it, and a memory card of course.

This is what I'm thinking of: I will get this pack (Includes: 4GB Memory Card, Pocket Pouch, Protective Film, Card Case, Headphones, Cleaning Cloth) It's only $40 so I think that's a good deal. It has everything I need to protect my Vita, and a 4GB to hold me off until I eventually get 16GB.

Or, should I just get the 16 GB now? It's slightly more expensive than the pack, but it holds much more.

ALSO:

What game should I get? I really want Uncharted, but it's the most expensive. Any other game options?

If you plan on getting a 16GB eventually, you could better just buy it right away. It's more expensive, but 4GB+16GB is still more expensive than just the 16GB.

Also for the games, Uncharted is fun, but after your first playthrough it gets boring.... Atleast for me. Also the controls are horrible (not the controls really, but the precision of aiming and stuff), which makes it a pain to play at the higher difficulties (no auto aim option).

Unless you really want to 100% the game, it won't last you very long. Wipeout will last a lot longer, if you like it.

I advice buying a 16GB card, and download some demos (i think uncharted, wipeout and a few more games have them). Then if you like them, buy them.

The memory card size will definitely depend on how many games you would like to have as downloadable vs the physical card. If you plan on getting a 16 anyway though, you might as well start with it like the previous poster mentioned. I also agree with giving the demos a try as most games have one. Also make sure you familiarize yourself with the games before purchase so there are no bad surprises like a mode you wanted that doesn't exist.

piece of advice... don't buy the started pack which has the pouch and carrying case and stuff and card holder , protector etc....... absolutely terrible stuff

...

get a carrying case which has space for memory cards and games built into it.... and jz get the screen protector and otherstuff

Rayman is decently long and very good.

Games that have long replay values are Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom, Fifa, and MLB the show. Lumines is also very good.

Try demos out like people said above, it'll give you a good taste of what you want.

The fighting game marvel vs capcom could take you a while to finish. Maybe trying it could be surprising.

I agree with another poster... get 16GB memory and then just test out some demos until you find something you want to purchase.

Personally I bought Lumines + Super Stardust Delta, and the rest has been mostly PSP titles I missed out on since I heard about the Vita and decided to wait for it before buying any other games.
