Get the HDTV first. You'll appreciate the PS3 a whole lot more in HD. The PS3 unlocks the full potential of your HDTV, not the other way around.
1. HDTV
2. PS3
3. Surround Sound
I was able to get a 40" Sony Bravia XBR4 (1080p native resolution) for $1750, 2 months ago. Treat yourself to the best my friend. You won't regret it.
Depends... is this tv a community Tv or just ur personal tv?
If it is personal a 32 is more than enough and if it is not you may but not really need to go bigger.
I have a 32 and I love it it is 1080 and I payed $450 for it... now that was a hook up but I am sure if you shop around like I did you can find one for right around $800... Do research first though... be sure people are satisfied with that brand of TV...
This way you can get both and a couple games.
yeah get ps3 first dude cuz its cheaper and u can play on SDTV first, but it will be different experience when ur playing it on HDTV.
everyone here saying that u should get Sony bravia, Sony bravia only looks good with full HD, which is 42 inch above,
my mate has sony bravia 30 or 32 inch, it doesnt look as good as my samsung 32 inches he even told me he gonna sell sell his sony with samsung.
if ur getting 32 inch get samsung, if ur getting 42, then get sony bravia.
[QUOTE="USMC_Sn1per"]with 1500$ u can get both, a ps3 and a good sony bravia HDTV 720p 37''box0rocks
the fact is i dont have that money i just need recomendations but thanks any ways and does 1080p and 720p tvs visual resalution make a diffrence
1080p is a higher resolution, more detail. Most games out atm are 720p native. An HD TV without an HD source looks like crap btw. I still vote for PS3 first and I come from a PS3 on SD, moved to 720p, now currently play on a 1080p.

1080 is a higher resolution and costs more...u cant really see the difference though...but if u have the money to get an 1080p then go for it...id personally go for a 23''-26'' 720p with HDMI...i dont like to play far away from he screen...
oh and my bad...i thought i have 1500$...anyways id go with the ps3 first...im still playing in SDTV lol...
Heres what I would do. Either pick up the MGS4 PS3 80 GB bundle now or wait until you can pick up an 80 GB for $399. Then, wait until the day after Thanksgiving to pick up your new HDTV. You can usually get some great deals on that black friday every year.
I bought a 32" Olevia 232V and it works perfectly. I have it for my room and it only does up to 1080i but unless you are going bigger than 32 (i think bigger than 40) you wont know the difference between 720p and 1080p.
HDTV brands are somewhat overrated. Since it is a new technology it has allowed alot of new companies such as Olevia to penetrate into the market. My buddy has a Vizio and had no problems with it either. Either way it is a big step up from SD to HDTV so get a set that will match your own personal requirements as well as matches your financial situation.
Also make sure to look at extensive product reviews for your prospective televisions online. Make sure that the company is reputable, the sets do not have a history of breaking down, and that consumers are happy overall with their purchase.

Get a PS3 first that way you can play gmaes and have some fun till you get a HDtv. whats the use in haveing the TV sitting there when yo are not getting and HD gameing on it. unless of course you alreadu own a 360.

Depending on where you live, you can get a 720p HDTV and a PS3 for under $1500 (including tax). However, I personally reccommend getting a 1080p television, then going to get a PS3. Also, if it's for a living room area, 40" and up are better.
32" SONY BRAVIA
40" Sony BRAVIA
