What should the PS3 Have?

In a previous post I mentioned widgets as an add-on feature to the PS3...let's just say that it isn't very popular (as of right now).

One example that I like would be an upgrade of the browser to make it run smoother and load pages properly.

Another example I like is uploading photos and videos straight from the PS3 to social networking sites or YouTube.

Aside from widgets and new games, what features or upgrades would you like to see addedto the PS3?

Please leave you comments below...if you do not have any suggestions and think things are fine the way they are, feel free to explain or discuss what feature already available you like and why.

i like your ideas and id like to see that stuff happen...i just think home needs to be better, they need to bring something like TVs and radios so we can play our music on our PS3 in home...have like an MP3 player thing straight from that sidekick looking thing youve got...also id like to see better animations with it...

another thing is id like to see more games run better with like 60 fps...alot i see with 30...

umm...i know alot of people are going to hate me for this but i think they should make PSN cost some money...like nothing big, but anywhere between 10 and 30 bux a year id gladly pay that as long as it stayed around 25 a year...and as long as i sawa big improvement in it 2 it could help them get out of debt as well

id like them to combine with someone like aim or yahoo or something to make the whole chat thing better...and talk to everyone on AIM not just PS3 players but also have next to their name to show whether they have a PS# or not...thats just a small idea though no biggie

more games and more games with greatest hits....like seriously how is Uncharted not one???and how does the system's amount of greatest hit games be counted on all fingers and toes...

i already know its possible....but they need to be getting these devs to put Custom Soundtracks on every game...or at least all sports racing andonline games

Not sure why you'd think charging a fee would improve your online gameplay in any significant way. Free online is the standard for every online platform... be it PC, DS, PSP, WII, or PS2. The only platform charging you is MS and they aren't offering you "a big improvement" in online play.

I'll pay for online when they use only dedicated servers. No more P2P. And no advertising.

well XBL is also pretty much the best out of the 3 consoles online play...it could because it would allow them to put money towards it and get them out of debt like i said....about 22 million people own PS3s correct....lets say(just saying) half of those people have PSN and pay for it and they pay 12 dollars a year thats a dollar a month not bad at all(i doubt it will be thatlow though)...so 11000000x12 do the math....thats 132 million dollars a year sony makes....and what do you think they can do with all that? go to the gentlemens club or something? a large fraction of that money would have to go towards making their products better...which makes them help us help them...think about it...they lose some money with selling every PS3 they make that money back with PSN which might help with that PS3 price cut everyone blabbers on about....how you think MS is able to sell that 360 for 200 bucks...because theyve got around 28 million owners of 360 and at least half of them have XBL....so 14000000x50 which is cost of XBL yearly...thats 700000000 a year they make...i mean think about it you say that it doesnt make it better...but youre making it better on PS3 everytime you install that Update we get every couple of months...and X box does stuff to...they just have a bigger wallet to do so...thats all im saying....

to add on i think that the PS3s should come with a headset...they have their own now why not let it come with the PS3 and a FPS or something...

It should be able to turn into the MK II from MGS 4.

I meanthe MK II already is controlled by a PS3 controller.:P

Loading most pages is fine but when it comes to a page with, for example, lots of thumbnails/images, it can take a while for me, even though my connection is 100% at high speed.

Lack of Backwards Compatability is the only thing stopping my PS3 from being perfect.

it should be able to geuss wat im thinking and have a robotic arm to eject and insert discs so i dont have to move to change games, it should also make kraft dinner....that would be all please :P

Yeah. The PS3's is a bit plain and boring.

I'm only mentioning this because I just got frustrated with it 5 minutes ago.

Why are there only a small handfull of visualizations when playing music. And the only one worth a damn is the one revolving around the earth.

Would it really be so hard to give us a couple more on some random firmware update?

i would like a dust seeking lasers that keeps all dust away from my ps3..... but i think the original is perfect...maybe a better browser but thats firmware and can be redone whenever,,,,it should have more colors to it :( i want a yellow PS3 rly bad
