I'll be purchasing the 4GB since the saves does not go on the memory card and I'll be buying most of my games at stores since I prefere physical copies. But the occationel 1 or 2 PSP game on the memory card makes me think 4GB is more than enough.

it depends, they had only announced the price in Japan.. wait until they release more info about the NA pricing, expect 10~20% cheaperI'll be purchasing the 4GB since the saves does not go on the memory card and I'll be buying most of my games at stores since I prefere physical copies. The largest I can get. I want to put all my current PSP games on it, and maybe some Minis and PSOne Classics.
It is going to depend on a lot of things I don't know yet. Probably a pretty small one though unless downloadable games are a lot cheaper than physical copies.
Probably 8GB. I'm gonna ditch physical games altogether. Trees, carbon footprint, etc PLUS I can access my library from anywhere this way.pooyanh
8GB is a little small for digital games only i think.
I think i will buy the 4Gb for movies and a few psone/mini games. No need for any more. Saves and dlc will be on hte card itself now, which is really nice.
I will wait until they makes a memory card adaptor like they did for the PSP. Once they do, I will get that adaptor and two 16Gb microSD cards to make me one 32Gb memory card.AmazonTreeBoa
I will buy a 16GB card which will be enough for 2 digital games + a lot of other stuff.
Btw may i ask you to give me a link or some sort with that microsd adaptor? where to buy it? would be incredible usefull :P
i will not rush to get one day one but when i do itll be at least a 4 gig
i dont really download psn stuff so im ok w a 4 gig just to save game saves ,
if im done with a game ill delete of course if it requires memory cards since their cards them selfs i wont need a card lol i usually play my ds more any how , 3ds to be exact , im more of a old school type besides the good games, i really dont need a card but 4 gig is fine with me
32 to 64 GB!!! No question!!! Coolyfett is know to maximize the potential of the PSP and Coolyfett will do the same with the the PSV. So much media can be cramed into a little box. Women love it.I'll be purchasing the 4GB since the saves does not go on the memory card and I'll be buying most of my games at stores since I prefere physical copies. It's tough. I really want the biggest memory card because I prefer digital for handheld titles. But it is going to be expensive, and probably will not go down in the future.
Right now I'm hoping for a 32 GB, but I might have to settle for 16 if the price is to high.
I'll get a 4GB, 8GBor 16GB which is the maximum? I'm sure that eventually Sony will have 32GB and possible 64GB. Later on the PSvita's life span.
Whatever 4GB to start and see how long it take me to fill that up.
I think that this was to keep the cost down. 16-32GB of memory is expensive, and it is the reason for the PSP Go's bigger price. So there is no internal storage for media like the PSPGO? That kinda sucks. You can't use pro duo memory sticks can you? The old psp memory sticks?

Sadly the main reason it failed. If it launched at 149 or even 199, I'm sure it would have gotten a chance.
But releasing at 249 when the PS3 was 299, and without the ability to play UMD's it had no shot. If Sony marketed as a cheaper PSP rather than the "Premium PSP" I really think it could have been succesful.

Well it isn't made for the Vita yet, just for the psp. Here is a link to one that has two 8Gb micro SD cards to make a 16Gb psp memory card. http://www.ebay.com/itm/PSP-2X8GB-Micro-SDHC-16GB-MS-PRO-DUO-MEMORY-CARD-STICK-/130586556078?pt=Digital_Camera_Memory_Cards&hash=item1e6790b6aeI'd like at least some info on what the cards look like or basic pricing information... What's taking so long, Sony?Granpire
The cards ? I thought I posted that a long time ago ?,,, well here ya go- the exact price has not been revealed yet though.
Hm, they really are called PSVITA cards? The cards ? I thought I posted that a long time ago ?,,, well here ya go- the exact price has not been revealed yet though.

This is a different move for Sony, seeing as the PSP's card format was intercompatible with their cameras and other devices... I suppose it's all about the money, but would a little incompatibility hurt? The only difference I can see is one size higher than the current Memory Stick Pro Duos, and the prices aren't substantially lower.
I'm not impressed.

I dunno, it would be an VERY tight squeeze...
16gb to 32gb or bigger. I intend to purchase all my games via the PSN store and according to Sony, all games will be on the store day one. Hopefully...
