LOL. Nice idea but I think it'll then look like a dreamcast controller which isnt exactly portable friendly which is what the PSP is all about. :P As for the hacker friendly part, it will cost Sony $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ of dollars and will lose all their friendly developers trust (Konami, Capcom, Namco, Hideo Kojima ffs :D). I mean whos going to make a game for a system when the system encourages that game to be downloaded for free from torrents. Developers wont make any games for the PSP, if theres no games, no one will buy it, if no one will buy it, Sony will lose money so the PSP will be a total flop.Design wise I still think they should've taken a PS2 controller and stuck a screen in the middle.:P

Sony should have let the PSP be open source. Let the hackers do what they will with it and turn a blind shoulder to it. I think that would have been cool and would have earned a gotten the hacker market. Just a thought though.PEELEDbanana
You do realize its because of those hackers that PSP software sales are complete crap? Homebrew is what allowed people to pirate games, which is why Sony is so against homebrew.
Sony doesn't care if people play emulators on the PSP, but they do care when those homebrew apps are allowing people to download games instead of buying them.
