What system will you get Assasin's Creed on??? I want it for XBox 360 because of the achievements but then again I only have one game for my PS3. I can't decide what system to get it on. What system are you getting it on and what system do you recommend getting it on???Â
No, lots of people are multiplatform. I know some of you dudes love the AP, but it's worth mentioning Assassin's Creed was designed and built around PS3 architecture and then started later on the 360 so it may be more optimized on this hardware. That said, from the recent demonstrations, I don't think you'll go wrong either way.. especially if you love your points.
I may eventually get a 360 since they have been getting pretty cheap on ebay. Also seeing how eb/gs try to brainwash customers into buying em, I forsee a revised 360 coming out causing the original console to become cheaper. If I do end up getting a 360 at some point, I'd probably get it on the 360 if the PS3 version doesn't utilize the sixaxis. If the ps3 version doesn't use any of the sixaxis features, I'm sure you can agree, you'd be better off having rumble.

Don't do that, man... I think you'd be cheating yourself out of an amazing game. At least try it once it comes out... Ubi Montreal is one of my favorite developer, so I'm biased, but I think it's multiplatform status shouldn't stop you from giving it a spin.

I hate Ubisoft because they make a game every year for Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon. and Prince of Persia. I don't want to feel like im being milked. I will try Assasin's creed, but there's about a 5% chance that I will buy it. It has no online play either.

I hear you on Ubisoft overfranchising - they get this great IP and then they just whore the hell out of it. For the most part, I actually think the games have come out great, but it kind of seems like they're trying to compete with EA for volume, which is as we all know, NOT the way to go. With PoP it almost seemed episodic but I definitely feel like everybody could have done without SC: PT - it was even by an entirely different studio. Anyways, I hear where you're coming from.

It has no online play either. its a nice looking game, sounds promising, and my god, does every game have to be online for you people? how would they even make it online? thats like having metal gear online or FF online. get over it, it doesnt work on every friggin game
ill get it for the ps3 since i dont have a 360. But even if i did, i would still get it for the ps3 because IMO, key acroynm there ok? it is a better machine. oh, does anyone know if this game was designed for the ps3 and then ported to the 360? or the other way around? Wouldnt this compromise quality of the game?

Now tell me again which of those games resembled a milking in any way? They aren't EA just tossing out an old game w/ one revision. Each game has always scored 8+ by critics. Despite the note that PoP1 >>>>>>> PoP2/3, it doesn't make 2 and 3 bad games. They were still very good. I don't know how you could make a comment about Ubi pumping out sequels when the demand is there and they are worthy additions to the franchises compared to a new Madden every year. In fact, I'd take any Ubi "milking" to any of the real milked Tony Hawk games that people still seem to buy left and right.
PS3. I don't feel the need to unzip my pants and compare "achievements" with others. Plus, the PS3 controller is more comfortable for me AND I'll be trading in my 360 soon towards new PS3 games and accessories and wouldn't be able to get it for 360 anyway.
