When I turn on my system, it says that I have less than 500 MB on my hard drive. When I start a game, quit the game and return to the XMB, the system info tab says I have over 2 GB of free space. What's the deal? This is annoying as hell, especially when I play Oblivion, because it means I have to start the game, quit because it won't let me proceed, then start the game again. Uninstalling game data takes care of the problem, but it's a pain in the ass to have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling, especially with games like GTA IV and MGS4 taking 7 minutes and 8 minutes respectively to install. Can anybody help?

I find your problem rather unusual. Sorry I can't help.
