What the hell happened to Final Fantasy Agito XIII?

Apparently the battle system is supposed to be like a mix of Crisis Core and FFXIII... And that's just awesome.

I haven't heard about the game in a year, though. Anyone have the latest info?

Both Agito and KH:Birth by Sleep have gone into hibernation it seems. I'm sure development is moving slowly, and we'll see more info on these later this year. At least I hope so.

Exactly! FF 13 is supposed to come in late '09, and they said that Agito won't be out until a while after that. But XIV is set for 2010. Not to mention that they still have Kingdom Hearts, Blood of Bahamut, and probably several Valkyrie and Star Ocean games to work on.

Birth by Sleep and the DS game were announced at the same time. I'm guessing they got the DS game out first because it takes less time to make a DS game. I read that they are going to do everything they can, including working through holidays, to get Birth by Sleep this year in Japan. Agito 13 will probably be shown at TGS, but like someone said it has gone through a overhaul so that may be whats taking it so long.

We may get more info about the game at the the Tokyo Game Show (Agito that is).

exactly. the ds games are fanfare. bbs is big part of the story. so they are going to get there money out of the ds games.
