What the hell is wrong with my PS3 ?

First i tried to download some demos and when i try to install them it give me an error code ( i googled the code and it seems like lots of people having this error msg ) some ppl says the files may be corrupted and others say don't use the background mode to dl stuff from psn... all i know is i never got corrupted files when downloading stuff from Internet even xbox live and i never used background mode in psn .... anyway after downloading over 15 GB worth of demos i was like F it... and yesterday i bought bad company just to play it online imagine my surprise the game require the latest batch in order for you to play online which is not new... and after dling 90MB batch i got the same error code!!!

Yeah same here. Never had any problem. Well I think one Rock Band song I downloaded was corrupted and it messed some things up. But I was able to fix it.
