What the PS3 (XMB) was ment to look like?

Hi Guys and Girls

I should be getting a PS EYE very soon, so i was looking around youtube and review websites trying to find out all i could.

I came across a post on the Sony Blog with this Link.

The poster said why PS3 didn't look like this. What do you guys think? I think it looks more stylish & clear.

I hope the PS3 will look like this a couple fireware releases down the line. Hopfully we will have some more stuff to do with our (PS) EYES to.

I didn't like it. Anyway there's a million and one PS3 themes out there at the moment you'd be hard pushed not to find one that you like.Liams

It's funny... with all those themes I still prefer the default one.

All the panel are clear with tinted colours...its a very colourful Theme if it is one

me too, I keep the wave thing on too, a static picture just looks crap on a big telly, and if you have anything with detail in it then the xmb just get's lost.

True but there are themes that are very artistic and similar to that. I personaly hate game themes on my PS3 but I do like the arty ones. You probably know these 2 already but give them try you might find something in there not a million miles away

I have a serious pain in my a$$ about that.

themes cant make this. i like it the way you have the camera and other icons below the persons name. and that the people have custom icons as well as that little blue speech bubble for your comment.

the ps3 is very basic and plain right now the ps3 started great and had all the great features then everything (software) was stripped off and we were givin the basic piece of crap for $600. sony are slowly giving it back to us but i dont see point in doing this . the ps3 would have had a better year if the menu was better, xmb in game and a better ps store but they are taking everything away

Folks are way to picky and choosy, I like it the way it is. It will eventually see changes but I'm sure it will be not enough for those who want more.

I like the default theme, it's stylish and crisp. Each to their own I guess. I'm sure there are needs for updates, It's not like Sony isn't working on it. Patience is a virtue. ^_^

yea it could be thats how the XMB looks in Home We will have to wait and see Still wish my XMB could look like that now, all colourful and Locoroco like lol That games is so awsome for £1.99 But yea Will have to try and find a theme that can match the clear and colourful'ness of thatJoker1232003

i think it should be availible as a theme.

anyway sony has to work on other important things other than how the ps3 looks.
