I'd go with Killzone 2. GTAIV is pretty good, but it is not up to par with the other GTA games from last gen. I say this, not due to graphics and polish, but just how much you can do and how fun the game actually is. San andreas offered everything under the sun for you to do, yet GTAIV has not so much to do when you compare it to San Andreas, or even Vice City. The missions aren't as varied this time around either. It will start off seeming different enough from the last one, but most of the time, whoever you're sent to kill will usually escape in their vehicle and you chase them down. Rinse, repeat. I'd go with Killzone 2.

gta4 has a decent story mode, bad online, trophies, replay factor through goofing off

kz2 has decent story mode, good online, trophies, no real replay ability beyond trophies

Definately Killzone 2. Great online. Great story mode. Brilliant graphics. Fair enough not much replayability, but it will definately keep you occupied for a while.

GTA IV without a doubt. It's easily the best game of this generation. I think everyone should experience it. Maybe you should try renting both games or something, I know there is a demo out for KZ2. GTA IV has received perfects from basically everyone, but with users it was either a hit or miss. For me it was a hit and easily one of the best games I have ever played. The story is amazing if you actually know what is going on or the background behind it, which many people do not know. There are a ton of side missions to do as well and it is very entertaining. I have never tried the online modes since I refuse to play a GTA game online. It should be single player only. KZ2 has an ok single player, but the visuals and sound are bangin'. The online is awesome. Definitely the best online game for PS Triple.

I ll go with Killzone 2, simply because GTA4 gets stale after awhile.

no replay value??? thats what ONLINE is for!!! so you can play for thousands of hours IMO KILLZONE2 IS THE WAY BETTER GAME!!! (i still havent even beat GTA4 since i bought it on release day got bored of it quick)

Get both. Killzone 2 is 60 brand new, and you can get a used copy of GTA4 for like 30 bucks. No brainer really. And also get InFamous.

You shouldbuy KZ2! I found it funnier than GTA4 (but shorter story mode)! And online play is a blast!

you said intel, symbols and medals.. the trophies cover that.. i know what replay value is, i just covered the basis of the games which is single player, online, trophies, and if there were anything beyond that.. i never said one game is better than the other.. beyond the single, online and trophies kz2 doesn't offer anything else.. that doesn't mean you aren't/can't play campaign 12 times and play online for 40+ hours..

YES replay value covers online because you are still playing the same game in your ps3 and KZ2 has one of the best online experiences on PS3!!

in your opinion, i thought it was okay, nothing special.. some people only get games for online others only for single.. so if you don't like online then the game has no replay value.. thus why i separated them..
