I play most games through once nowadays without unlocking everything mainly due to time constraints and other commitments such as college.

If it's a rent, I just play through it (if I complete it or not is never a matter). If I own the game, I always play to end it, keeping paltinum as an afterthought.

Usually I beat it and move on unless there is multiplayer or I want to play it again. I get whatever achiements/trophies I can in my first playthrough, I won't spend hours playing a game just to get some annoying trophy (kill pigeons in GTA, collect shards in Infamous, etc).

If its an awesome game I complete it 100% before moving on usually. Demon Souls was in my PS3 for almost a month! Heavy Rain's been in there for a whole week! I just keep playing until I either get a platinum or can't take any more. If the game is average I usually go back when I'm out of stuff to play to get the plat. If the game sucks I try to deny I ever owned it and pass it off to some poor fool on Craigslist.

I enjoy diversity, today I played GOW Collection and tomorrow I feel like some NBA action or some racing. Really depends on my time from work, friends and family.

I use to play a lot of RPG's in high school days but today I don't have to much time to do so.

I did Platinum Dragon Age: Origins however but that was the only RPG I played since it came out. ;)

I go for the platinum in a game.

And you need some english lessons, my apologies if english isn't your first language, I just hate when people know english but still butcher it when they type.

I always finish my games, I don't care about trophies though. If I get a platinum from continued play like I did with Fallout 3 or Arkham Asylum, fine, but I don't chase them in every game I play.

In uncharted 2 online there's a booster called Invalid, whenever you kill 5 people you get a medal called ''Get off my lawn!'' I though it was that. :(

I'll play a game, beat it, play it a few more times then move on. If it has online multiplayer I tend to play it longer than other games.

It depends on how much I like the game. I loved Assassin's Creed 2, Both Uncharteds, Infamous, and Ratchet and Clank ACIT, so I platinumed all those games. I thought Dead Space and Resistance 2 were pretty good, but not worth going for the platinum.

I play any game I want to. Whether I want to invest the time to invest into getting the Platinum, it depends on the game.

I just play the game, complete it, and if I enjoyed it, I'll play it again. The thought of earning a platinum doesn't even cross my mind.

in this time where i have various things going on life such as college...... where tons of games being released. i only have time to play and finish game

once.... don't have time to platinum even if it's a game that i want to because i love it. for example.. uncharted 2.

i have yet to play star ocean 4 i've bought, same as dead space.....and future buys such as rachet clank series, heavy rain, ff 13, and soon to be gow 3....

my point is there are so many great games to buy and play but lack of time. maybe if ps3 doesn't really any good games, i might go back and replay

some of my fav games again.

I have to beat the game on normal difficulty and if I really love it I will go and play it on the highest difficulty. Of course if it has a great multiplayer I do the campaign and put in numerious hours online.

I will not purchase a game that I will not finish because I would consider that a waste of money. Unless it is a downloadable type of game that cost about $10 I will play casually and do not care about completely beating it.

I generally play through games once, it's the rare title that gets two playthroughs from me (mostly Bioware games, I'm addicted to them). Even excellent titles like Assassin's Creed II don't get 2 playthroughs, much less trophy-hunting, which seems to me like a pretty big waste of time.

I only completely ditch a game without finishing it if it's unbelievably bad.

The great games I do have, I always replay because I like them. Not for some foolish "forced my hand" attitude "because it has trophies". I prefer to play a game the way I want to and I hardly think killing an enemy 60 times qualifies as "replay value".

Most of the time I complete a game all the way. If Im feeling lazy/uninterested, I may just stall half way through. Rarely do I go for trophies.

I beat the game and move on. I'll sometimes replay a game or fool around in it, but never for a Platinum trophy.

I just finish the game... replay it some other time... gotta go and play my next game... coz the backlog is getting long...

i could go for the trophies, but it's not on my priorities... maybe because i don't have much time to play...

If its good, play to completion, if its great, do second play through gathering trophies. If I don't get on with it, I'll jib it pretty quick.

Finish the game and move on to next one. I replay games only when no new games to play. Trophy? Don't need them. Multiplayer? I don't play multiplayer. No games? Crawling over GameSpot for news.

I try to get as much out of a game as possible before moving to another, then I will come back to it for another playthrough. Once I get a game I dont aim for a platinum but sometimes I'll come back and try for it.

Further back again, & games didn't even have save point! Remember that? If you died, you got maybe a continue, if you died again, the game would go back to the start! They'd be riots now-a-days!

I play pretty much any game i want to. I dont usually rely on reviews/scores. I will play most game though, and if it is something i liked, i keep it. bad games or games with no replay end up on ebay so i can get another. But i have 45 Wii games, 10 PS3 and a few for my PC, so i'm really not into getting rid of them.

I like FPS games. If I really like the game, I will play it on all difficulties, and try to get the Plat. Then I will use different strategies/weapons to go back and lay waste to everything that moves.

I usually just beat the story then move on to another game. I only replay and/or try to complete a game (except for trophies) if I really really really enjoyed the game.

I don't care about trophies.
