it depends on your preferences
is money an issue to you?
be able to play PS2 games is important to you?
wanna save some money, and don't care about PS2 games, you should go with 40GB
want the whole package, you then go with 60 or 80
I got myself a 60GB, not because I really gonna use the card-reader function, or I do care about PS2 games
for me, I just like the top-model, that's all
so, it really depends on your preferences
just ask yourself, which one will make you smile wider ?
Look here Bud, I want to be helpful as the nextdude/dudette here at the forums but these type of questions are getting freaking annoying. Here's some methods in the future for you, when you need to do some research. When you're on the main page of Gamespot, click on PS3 & read the links. Usually there's a link that will answer all your questions.
Oh looky here! I found one without searching really hard. http://www.gamespot.com/console-resource/ps3/index.html
Read it through & if you haveany VALIDquestions which the resource centerhas NOTcovered, then by all means, please post them!
[QUOTE="UTXII"][QUOTE="CTUDude"]60> 40 + 80 GB
Emotion Engine chip for playback (works up to 95% on PS2 games versus the downloadable software which is around 75%)

Agreed.
60GB > 20GB > 80GB > 40GB.
good formula. 60 is the way to go.Just adding to the 60gb support, I hate sony for discontinuing it.
