With Playstation Move coming up lets all revisit Sony's past motion device. Not the eye toy but teh uber awesome SIXAXIS!

MGS4 for me, while not built around SIXAXIS motion controller it had some neat subtle touches like moving the lid up when you go in the trash bin and changing back to default camo by shaking it. And lets not forget the Mantis fight.

Also what what do you think was the best and worst use of SIXAXIS in your opinion.

The repeated, and annoyingly, mind-numbingly stupid, valve turning in killzone 2

Cool game, dumb addition.

The first game I used SIXAXIS motion on was motor storm... For all other games after MS, I only used the motion controls when it was necessary (I.e. KZ2 valve turning)

Folklore used sixaxis amply throughout the entire game!

and Motorstorm using sixaxis steering which turned into a difficult challenge but favored if accomplished.

It's a bummer sixaxis control is not widely incorporated into current games.

Although I played it first, I didn't use it in Heavenly Sword. I just switch it to analog to make it easier. The first game I used it was in Killzone 2.

Dark Sector. You have to throw your glaive over a fence to hit a switch to open a door. Took me about an hour! Second game was Heavenly sword, & this is where I started to enjoy it. Very satifying.

The first game I played that had Sixaxis support was Warhawk. I didn't like it so I turned the motion controls off. The only game I have liked it in was High Velocity Bowling

Edit: I also liked it in Fl0w and Flower

My first ps3 game was uncharted and you used SIXAXIS to aim the grenades in that game. I did not like it very much.

Ratchet and Clank: ToD where you are skydiving. I changed it after like five seconds because I hated it so much. I try to avoid games that use Sixaxis, however I did get Flow because it was free and I heard it controlled well, but it controlled like a drunken elephant, IMO. I could barely play it due to the frustrating Sixaxis.

Heavenly Sword, and it was absolutely awful. Horribly inaccurate and frustrating. I turned it off immediately and enjoyed the game so much more that way. The best use of sixaxis has to go to flOw and Flower, easily. Worse is obvious, Lair.

Resistance was the first one I "used" Sixaxis on, but Folklore was the first game I played that truly used Sixaxis the way it was meant to be used. Folklore was awesome, severely under-appreciated imo.

Heavy Rain made pretty good usage of the sixaxis.

The only other game I have played using the sixaxis was Uncharted which used the sixaxis to control the arc of the grenade--- this seemed pretty unnecessary and they removed the sixaxis for Uncharted 2.

Killzone 2 with the valve turning (not that great) and the sniper aim, which i thought was a pretty good way to use it.

Indeed. They used it really well with FOM with shaking off fire and those dudes who lunge at you, along with the map and scoreboard opening with simple tilts. Nothing to intrude on gameplay - just nice, subtle things which made the game more enjoyable than anything.

It was like, tilting it left for the map and tilting it right for the scoreboard in online multiplayer games. It worked really well, and it was a lot better than pressing select to bring up something, and then pressing select again to get rid of it.

Oh, I always just used select. I remember it popping up sometimes randomly so I guess I must have been tilting it by accident. :P

Thanks for the clarification
