What will be sony's trump card at E3?

I'm hoping it's a game that we'll hear about for the first time...something crazy hot that was kept under the gaming world's radar.

I'm hoping for a new Team Ico game. Think Shadow of the Colossus but made for PS3.. simply amazing.

I think their biggest announced game is Killzone 2, let's just hope it delivers.

Same here. They are working on a secret PS3 game (not much of a secret though when the media heard about it:P) and so far no leaked or news. However, I am hoping it would be more to do with Ico sequel.

Killzone 2 is Sony's trump card even though thye don't need one because a lot of quality titles will be shown at E3 but Killzone 2 unveiling will be spectacular it's been 2 YEARS since we've seen the game it makes me so excited so much has changed since then.

Oh my god, a price drop would help me greatly. Im waiting for one to come before i pick one up. Sooner the better. IF its too long until it (like if they have it in the middle of or beginnignof 2008, I just might have to get one reg. price. Way too many games to miss out on.

killzone 2, Price Drop, an MMORPG

Although I'm very excited about the Killzone PS3 showing, I'm thinking that Sony has a good amount of unannounced games to show off that will recieve great response from the Playstation community.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was my favorite announcement out of E3 last year, and there was NOTHING about the game revealed prior to the E3 conference.

I'm expecting one of Sony's internal (or external) studios to show off or announce something we don't know anything about yet, I'm thinking that it could possibly be Team ICO or the Syphon Filter team, seeing as how they haven't shown their PS3 games yet.

The only thing Sony is going to show is realtime gameplay to Killzone 2, a demo. And a demo of MSG4 and the PSP 2. That Sony's big wow for E3. To me I think I wast my money on the PS3. You seem to know quite a bit about a conference that isn't for another 3 weeks, where developers traditionally unveil new products.

Much of what you said hasn't been confirmed, or was already debunked.

Sony probably is making a PSP2 as we speak (consoleR&D takes quite a long time) but it won't be coming out anytime soon (as evidenced by posts on their blog by the higher ups) so it won't be at E3.

Konami hasn't announced its games list, so we don't even know if MGS4 will be there (although it probably will be) and once again, ther has NEVER been any announcement that the game is multiplatform, or that it will eventually go multiplatform, I'd wait for Konami and Kojima Games to announce this, and not rely on some guy called "Xbox-fanatik360" to post about it on a user-created forum.

As for Microsoft's conference, I doubt Gears 2 will be there, but the rest of them seem probable.

Here is a list of what is going to blow you away...by the end of E3 all of the Press is going to be saying, "They're back!" in regards to Sony.

Playable MGS4--just wait, you guys don't know what you are in store for.

Killzone is going to surprise you all in a very good way.

Amazing games like Heavenly Sword will be playable--and wait until you see how addicting and mind blowing Drake is in playable form.

If Team "ICO" is ready and makes the deadline (not sure if they will--its going to be close)--your brains are going to fall out.

There are some other goodies, but I would not want to spoil the entire show. Trust me folks--THEY ARE BACK!

You know, if the PS3 gets a solid lineup of games (like the PS2 did) and drops in price 150 bucks, then this console could really take off just like the ps2...

right now there are 67 boxed games for the PS3 scheduled to be released this year and 76 boxed games scheduled by March 2008... sony only needs 29 more games toreach 145 boxed games most coming outin 2008.

^Just think about what your saying though. You see 2 years ago PS3games were in such ealy development they had nothing to show and needed something to impress. Perfect reasoning for a CGI trailer even if it is mis-leading. Now take into account how expensive it is to create CGI footage vs. using in game engine. Good CG is not cheap. Then try to fathom the fact that not only has the game been in the pipline for almost 3 years with full financial and technical support from Sony, but is due to release a few months after E3. Its truly the fruits of there labor. WHY IN THE HELL WOULD THEY NOT SHOW IT!

Sorry everyone may be entitled to an opinion, but to think another Killzone CGI trailer is in order makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. It wouldnt be good for Guerilla or Sony, there would be no point.
