What won't you sell?

After I play games, I generally let friends use them, and then sell them. However, some games just can't be sold! I hated alot of the "greatest" games and sold them right off.

I've kept ALL the Final Fantasy games

Both SW:Battlefront games

DMC1&4

MGS4

Uncharted

CoD 4

CoD WaW

SW: The Force Unleashed

Resistance

RSV1&2

The Eye of Judgment

Crash Commando(can't really sell it, but I'll never quit playing it.)

My Battlefield: Bad Company disc is cracked and unplayable, but I still can't throw it out!

I personally have never sold a game :oops: my brother wanted to sell his NES at one point and I took it instead, now it is just sitting around collecting dust cause I don't have enough time to play my current games, let alone my old favorites. I bought a slim PS1 at one point in time, still have my original fat one... I don't know what it is, I just have a real hard time parting with my old systems and games. Even now, I don't sell my games, the games I like I want to keep because down the road it is always fun to pop them in and play again, however, I've had a few games I've bought over the years that I really hate and would like to sell, but when I find out from Gamestop and stuff how much they will give, I figure I'm better off to just keep them, especially since it is credit and I never really buy things from them anyway.

So, I guess I'm a little obsessive when it comes to my games since I've never sold one, but I do enjoy going back to play my favorite games, so I think it is worth it for me!

Well that certainly sucks. Did you replace it yet? Go to Gamestop and buy a used copy for $29.

I have over 31 Blu Ray games and over 30 PSN games, but BF:BC is probably the most played and valued game I own.

Really? That is one of the few games I own that I have not put any time into. Is it worth the effort or does it serve it's purpose by just being a part of my collection? DMC4, The Darkness, and Endwar also fall into that category.

This is what I have that I won't sell. mgs1, mgs1 vr missions, mgs the twin snakes (gamecube), mgs2, mgs2 substance, mgs3, mgs3 subsistance, mgs4. God of war, devil may cry 4, LBP, Uncharted.

I don't sell or trade any of my games. Every time I see someone trading in their games and recieve ~5$ trade in credit, when they originally bought the game for ~60$, it boggles my mind. In the long run, you lose way too much money, I don't think it's worth it. Thankfully, I'm able to rent most, if not all games, I intend to buy before I buy them. Sk00by_Sn4x

Still, I think it's better than keeping the same $60 game and never play it.

Well, rather then even attempting to list on the games I have sold and wont sell for the previous generations, Ill just go with this gen.

Only games Ive sold this gen: Blue Dragon on the 360, Farcry 2 and Fallout 3 on PS3.

- Warhawk: My first online PS3 game that gave me plenty of hours of fun and helped me through the summer drought and was well worth it

- COD4: Good times with COD4 great christmas present just don't have it in me to sell it even though I don't play anymore.

- GTA IV: I'm bored of it and probably wont play it anymore even with trophie,s but I stood in line for it on launch night with my friend, my first game ever to do that so it means a lot to me.

- LBP: infinite amount of replay value as long as the community is strong i'll keep it and it's very innovative :)

You guys should try ebay. I always get fair value for my used games in great condition.

Blockbuster offered me 12$ for Motorstorm II and 3$ for the Orange Box. I got 22$ on ebay for Orange box and 46$ for Motorstorm II . I sold Oblivion for 44$ and only paid 40 new, sold Resistance 2 for 39 and paid 42 ( ebay purchase ) .

Anyways I agree, DO NOT SUPPORT THESE STORES THAT RIP YOU OFF .

I am surprised that everyone is very strict with the "I don't sell my games" theory. I will sell any game that I know deep down I will probably never touch again, and if I do play it, it might be one time or so.

I have sold old Madden's, MLB 08: the Show, Guitar Hero 3, Hot Shots Golf, most of my PS2 games. I pretty much got LBP for free when I sold Madden and the Show, which I would never have played again. But I DEFINITELY will never sell MGS4 or Call of Duty 4 because those are the 2 most replayable games IMO...

That's kind of unfair. Those stores don't always rip you off. For example, EBGames is offering $37 box in credit for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I mean sure, COD4 is a hugely popular title but still, it's almost 2 years old. They have a whole bunch of games which they're giving a maximum of credit for this month.
