Hey,

I am buying a PS3 either way, but I have 2 options.

I can buy an 80gb one brand new, console only for about $360 at a store where I live.

OR

I found one, used, in the next town from where I am at college. It is 2 months old roughly, was played for 3 weeks and is in perfect working condition. It has two controllers, and 5 games. Metal Gear Solid: Guns of the Patroits, Genji, GRID, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and GTA-IV. Everything is included. He wants $350.

What would you do?

I would really like new, BUT, this seems like an unpassable deal if I am planning on buying a PS3.

-Thanks

You answered your own question. Just make sure you test the system and ask him if it's refurbished, had repairs, etc. You could also call Sony and check if that model has ever been sent in... like checking Carfax to make sure you don't buy a lemon. Also, if you get the used system, sell Genji and Star Wars and use the money for books/ babes/ beer.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am leaning towards new. Thise games are all good, but I don't think I would buy all 5. Also, if something did happen to the used console, I wouldn't forgive myself........or the previous owner, haha.

-Thanks

Get the system with the games, but make sure that its a factory model, not a refurbished one. They only have 90 day warranties.

Get a new system unless he's still got warranty and only buy the games off him for cheap.

Take the deal with the games. A new console will be 3 weeks used in 3 weeks anyway.
