I would like to see some new ID Avatars. The ones that are available now are pathetic. I think Sony should just allow us to pay $0.99 on some avatars like Microsoft does. I would also like to see some in-game web browsing. Sometimes I'll be playing a game and I want to look up something but I don't want to have to quit the game and everything. I think that in-game voice chat rooms would be sweet.

in game web-browsing would need more ram, they probably only reserver extra for the OS, and that would be considered extra stuff running, and because it would need ram to display the graphics its just naught going to happen. Voice Chat while in game would be pro though. I hope for a simpler way to invite peopl and join invites, as it is its definitly not as simple and just a hassle compared to xboxlive.

A lot of these things sound good, I too would like to see some features on PS3 that are on the 360 as I love that system, but when I come over on the PS, it seems dumb that I cant have cross game chat. They tried to do something with that joke of a text chat, that only allows a sentence and is really pointless.
I would really like some new avatar pics or if they could use the same method for avatars that they used forcustom themes, that would be even better

I'm thinking because of the unified memory, the OS on the 360 has a smaller foot print which allows for things like ingame chat, since they reservered that much for it, I'm sure they wanted to give us ingame chat, but maybe text was the best they could do since there was no room for the extra sound data being sent and recieved.

But is it running while the game is running, thats all that matters, I honestly don't think sony left enough resources for extra stuff to run while the game is. That might not even have enough cpu time for it since this stuff would all have to be crammed in on the PPC part of the CELL and they only have 1 for that
I dont want to sound like Im bashing the PS3, because I love it, I just prefer my 360, but I would love to see some good online features on PS3 because they hold it back. We do get what we pay for and we dont pay anything so we will just have to wait for these features, if they come at all, but it would be nice if it was easier tocommunicate with your friends online.
I'd personally like to be able to listen to music while playing games but that would probably need more RAM. I'd also wish they'd make better avatars maybe a pic of you Home avatar? that'd be kinda cool
a video/picture recorder that goes across ALL games. it would REALLY help games on ps3, and ps3 sales. part of why the 360 is doing well is that there are funny community videos from machinima, so if ps3 could do it on any game, more people would buy, and i could record my awesome kpds...
I defintiely want to see more ID Avatars. The selction is bland at best. As a OS X user, I'd also like to see support for iPods formatted on a mac. And finally, if dreams really could come true, last.fm scrobbling support.
I'd like the web browser to work properly, and not freeze my ps3 up all the time. Has anyone tried to go on ign lately , using the ps3's browser ? It's freezing it up , like crazy. Certain sites freeze it up, it seems like.
in no order 1. Universal In Game Music-be cool to play MGS1 and God Of War2 while Listening to your own Music 2. Music Plays the Next Folders- Example if u one song in a folder, the PS3 play the next album folder like PSP 3. Improve Internet Browser- Lastest FlashPlayer support. let me write in the message box when sending email and faster loading 4. Custom ID Avatars will be nice 5. In Game Web Browsing is not a bad idea PSP 1. Increase Volume- Remember in a PS3 update sony increase the volume level of PS3, why not PSP because as it is the PSP audio is TERRIBLE.
