I remember there being an announcement by Capcom in early 2005 about a PSP version of Devil May Cry when I read about it on The Magic Box (who pretty much translates Famitsu issues and posts them on the web), but nothing ever came out about wheter it was still being developed or cancelled after the initial announcement.

I'm disappointed as well about the lack of DMC for the PSP. I've been waiting to hear some news and see some screenshots ever since it was announced. Capcom was one of the biggest supporters for the PSP coming out with street fighter alpha 3, mega man maverick x, mega man powered up, ultimate ghoules and goblis etc. but it seems things went sour because very few Capcom games have been released recently, and I'm guessing sales were poor and as a result Capcom has pulled support.

Despite this, IGN has DMC listed for a 2008 release for the PSP so maybe there is still hope although taking 3 years to finish a game for the PSP will make it seem like it is vaporware. I'd also like to see Capcom release a true Viewtiful Joe game on the PSP

well, I saw some petitions going up for DMC for psp. Capcom seems to have their hands full now though, I would think a resident evil game would be better IMO
