Same for same price! Also Just Cause 2 for 20$ like 4 Months after releaseDemon's Souls for $15.
Not the best deal I've gotten on a game, but its the best game I've gotten cheap.
J-Man725
I picked up 3 games last month that I thought were amazing deals
Half-2 Orange Box = $14.99
Burnout Paradise = $14.99
Kingdom of Heaven = $7.99
All great games in my opinion, and could not pass up any of them at that price
Also, for those who picked up Just Cause 2 in the bargin bin, what a great deal. I paid full price for that game, and I really enjoyed it. It is sad it did not sell very well. The gameplay was great, controls were fluid and there was a lot of content within the game.
I picked up Shatter for $4 as part of sale last month. Does that count? Otherwise the closest I gotten is buying The Sly Collection for $24 from GameFly a couple days after the game hit store shelves. Best deal I've ever gotten for a brand-new game.
On Amazon, I got Super Street Fighter IV for $12.50 around Black Friday and that included shipping. On Ebay, I got Grand Theft Auto IV for $10 and it looked pretty much new condition. At GameStop, I got Virtua Fighter 5 for $4.99. Amazon, ebay and gamestop is where I shop mostly.
Where do you guys shop? The best deal I ever got on a game was Dark Cloud for the PS2 for $10, the only other game I've gotten for that price is Shaun White Snowboarding (big drop in quality there)
Silos911
Usually amazon.com.
But I find deals on Newegg.com, in sears clearance bin, KMART clearance bins or advertised deals, recently bought a few games from a website called PCRichard. Basically I go where the deals are.
Sears clearance used to be the GOAT and I got a TON of Ps2 games there a few years back. Even up to about 1-2 years ago it was great. But unfortunately at the store near me clearance deals are now practically nonexistant. It's so bad, I keep going in there looking for this ONE copy of Persona 3 they've had forever hoping maybe they'll bring back the clearance bin. In the old days it would be clearance priced progressively lower until it finally sells. Usually you wouldn't even know the price until you scanned it at the register. So a game that had a sticker for $19.99 might have actually been $2.97 or whatever. I used to get Ps2 games for like $2 or $3 from there. I even paid that little for Hot Shots Golf PS3. Unfornuately it seems Sears new policy is to not even mark down their PS2 games anymore, so this ONE COPY of Persona 3 just sits there for $39.99 collecting dust along with whatever other old Ps2 games they have. It's quite sad actually. It's been there so long the outer shrinkwrap is disintigrating, almost can't even call it "new" anymore. :x
Last summer I went to a Blockbuster and I'm pretty sure one of the employees messed up while pricing the games that were on sale because I bought 14 PS3 games for $2.50 each. Red Faction Guerrilla was probably my favorite of the 14.
