Me and my friend want to play something fun online, I'm thinking of Army of Two: 40th Day, but Uncharted 2 also comes to mind, also Modern Warfare 2 (Right?). I really don't know, we want to play those games that have campaign coops like Gears of War 2, Resident Evil 5, and the like. So is Army of Two the best choice if you're looking for a fun campaign coop?

For something along those lines, yeah, you're looking at MW2's Spec-Ops, Army of Two and Uncharted 2. If you're willing to do co-op with a few more people, I highly recommend Resistance 2's co-op.

If you want campaign co-op, go with Army of Two or Borderlands. Lost Planet 2 is also coming out in the next couple of months I believe.

Uncharted and Modern Warfare you cant play through the campaign coop. They have little mini missions that you can do coop which are still fun to do but its not the same.

I havnt played it but a lot of people rave about Resistance 2's coop and Im pretty sure you can play through the whole campaign.

borderlands is a great co op, its pretty much designed around being co op. you just pick your character out of the 4 classes then build him or her up however you wish, and go along the story as a team, enemies get stronger as more people join, and you can play as a group of 4. with the expansions out you can take on zombies or even go into an arena and fight for your life as a team(pretty impossible alone). also they are about to come out with a new expansion for it. and there are alot of guns lol, i have found currently over 1200 guns.

While I will rave about Resistance 2's great co-op, I will also clarify that you can NOT play the Single player campaign, in co-op. Co-Op has it's own campaign, which can be played either Split-screen, On-line, or on-line split-screen.

In my opinion, Saints Row 2. Complete free roaming of the entire city by both people, completing the whole story and side missions together. But Resistance 1 coop campaign was pretty sweet, and MW2 spec ops. Also Borderlands is amazing split screen and online.

And I haven't gotten into it, but White Knight Chronicles has the potential to be a blast online with 4 players.

dark kingdom was good, but the game was let down by its servers, people have known the game to crash while in loading screens and then a error window pops up and says either the host has closed the game or you have left the game or you have lost connection to the host. but that was years ago who knows if its still like that

This. A friend and I have been cooping this game lately and its freakin awesome! It really lends itself to multiplayer, cuz its pretty boring by yourself...

-The MW2 coop, as someone said, are a limited number of special missions

-Uncharted 2 coop is online ONLY!! This means no sitting next to your friend splitscreen style

-RE5 was fun coop style, just dont expect a resident evil game

Definitely go with Borderlands. Without a doubt one of the best coop games around...

I thought RE5 was good for co-op. Army of Two, Borderlands (very good!) and the Nazi Zombies for CoD:WaW (which I still think should be made into a game of its own).

if nazi zombies was a game by itself i would so get it! =D and resident evil 5 is a great co op online and offline, the best thing about it is you can take your weapons from the end of the game and take them back for another play through with a friend or alone, i have played it 6 times over and im still not tired of it

While I totally agree the co-op is a lot of fun for Uncharted 2 and MW2, neither of them are campaigns. I think you and your friend would enjoy Army of 2: 40th or RE5. Both are fantastic co-op experiences and are pretty much designed to be played that way (my opinion). Bordlerlands is a good option too, but I havent played it myself so I'm not sure if its better with 2 or more than 2.

It seems the consensus here is Borderlands and Army of Two, then cod waw nazi zombies at third place. Thanks i'll try both borderlands and Army of Two first!
