Whats the best way to charge my 2 controllers without using the USB cable?? I also have 360 and I can charge 2 battery packs on a charge dock or whatever it is while I'm at work.....Does anyone know if Sony sells something similar to that , that I can buy??? thanks

This is just an example. Gamestop, Best Buy, Target, Walmart and etc have this.

I know you wanted something without USB, but I highly doubt that they have that *From what I could search for*

There are different ones out their, Just have to search for them.

thanks man....What I mean to say was I want a way to charge my controllers without having to have the USB cable plugged into my PS3 in which case the PS3 has to be on for the controllers to charge....I want a way that I can charge my controllers during the day while I'm at work, without having to leave my PS3 on all day

Someone told me that you could get a charger for the wall outlet, I'm not sure what person told me that, but he said it's true.

Best of luck finding that one.

I heard that you can charge it using a PC, since it's the same USB ports. I'm not sure if it would work though. Probably will.

Anything that has a USB port and electricity running through it will charge you sixaxis/ds3

just go to your local electronics store if they ps3's ..............look for accesories and they have a little charger station that u can buy for about 20 dollars u plug it in your wall outlet and just plug your controllers in it it should take up yo 3 controllers ALL U HAVE TO DO IS PLUG THIS CHARGER STATION INTO YOUR WALL OUT LET AND PLUG YOUR CONTROLLERS IN TO IT HERES A PIC AND THATS NO THE ONLY KIND THEY HAVE

just go to your local electronics store if they ps3's ..............look for accesories and they have a little charger station that u can buy for about 20 dollars u plug it in your wall outlet and just plug your controllers in it it should take up yo 4 controllers

u plug it in the wall outlet as if it was a cell phone charger and then plug in the usb and atttach your controller to it

Or you can get a powered usb hub such as this. It might be preferable as you can use it for both your PC and PS3 and if needs to be also as a usb extender. Any powered hub would do, and I am pretty sure you can get one for less then 20 bucks (might need to hunt a bit though).
