yeah, i feel the same. people keep on praising the game. i havent played the full game, but based on the demo its nothing special. it didnt really grab my attention. but maybe if i spent more time with it then it might grow on me

I thought it was a good game and can't wait for the sequel. The story was good but the ending was excellent. It's an open sand box game with super powers, what's not to like. I liked the powers and upgrading them. If you can pick it up used , I would say it 's a great game to add to your collection.

I thought this game was great. One of the only games that i have completly played through and beat. I cant wait for the second one.

The Story is good, The gameplay is great (just traversing the city is fun on it owns) and it has good pacing with the powerups u keep getting

Definitely has a good feel to it, where you grow to like or hate characters (not as good as MGS4 and Uncharted, but what are ;))

Pretty nice graphics for open world (but laggy at times, being its worst fault)

For me the game was very fun and worth buying, but my two problems are that it has frame issues (closer to the end game areas) and the facial animations (of cole pretty much) are awful. I never noticed, then when I played it again after playing Uncharted 1, Uncharted 2, and MGS4, I realized how much it lacks.

ill be as honest as i can about it.

its like gta but u dont need a car. you have super powers instead of guns. the characters suck, but the concept/story are well written. especially the end! very original. the missions can get monotonous, but overall it is a fun game. once you start upgrading your powers, you truly do feel like a badass. the city is huge and well-detailed, and platforming thru it is very easy. its not a bad game by any means. if your into open world adventures, then its definitly worth checking out.

Yeah I played the demo and watched the review, and honestly it just seemed like crap. I've heard from many of my friends that it's great, and it's praised a lot on these boards but I just for the life of me can't see what everyone else sees.

What isnt the big deal about InFamous?

From the flashy, exciting combat, to an excellently presented story that is magnifecent, to a beatiful artstyle and city, InFamous is great.

Didn't think highly of this game at all. Rather repetitive and Cole running around the city like he was hopped up on adderol and cocaine didn't help either. The ending was flat out lame(hero). I was glad to sell this on Amazon after beating it.

Its a 3rd person sandbox game done right (unlike GTAfail)

Like a few people here, I loved InFamous, but I wouldn't ever say that it's the greatest game ever made or something like that. The storyline was decent, the gameplay--while admittedly reptitive at times--was still fun and I at least found msyelf using every one of my abilities (which I rarely do in games). I found it particularly enjoyable on Hard, which the the only way I'd recommend playing it. It's not particularly hard on Hard mind you, but it does ensure that you at least make some effort in the game. I've never played it on Normal, but I can see where it'd be super repetitive since I suppose using only one or two abilities would be just fine.

As for the graphics, they weren't great, but people get way too hung up on that these days. They were just enough for the job. It's just a fun game, and if you have time, rent it and enjoy it for what it is. A game doesn't have to be called the Greatest Ever to be enjoyable.

inFAMOUS was a great game people keep judging it by the demo which you really can't as you learn my powers as you progress in the game which I found that it made inFAMOUS better. The story was actually really good and the ending was surprising as for someone saying the graphics aren't that good you should look at Prototype that's dull compared to inFAMOUS.
