LMAO!!!! you MUST explain that infamy319
I actually felt like I was Nathan Hale in the first one. It gave me the ambience of fighting like the world was on my shoulders.
Narration. Art Style. Epic Battles. { 9.9 } Prime in my book.
yeah I don't get that either. the older re games had better atmosphere and music. The first Resistance had some scary moments - especially my first time through. The second wasn't scary at all, sadly. Dead Space is terrifying, though.
I don't know why people think Resident Evil 4 is scary. I played it and the zombies are, like, a joke.
Tikicobra
i honestly gotta say first it was resident evil 4... all those infected people comming at you screaming random spanish sayings... and running around a creepy castle was crazy... and then i must say bioshock took me by surprise... with it's classic style of music and location with a modern horror twist really got me nervous!!!!!! lol.... what do you think? what scared you???? OH AND DEAD SPACE!!!!!!! enough said! ^_*infamy319
The Remake of RE on the gamecube for sure made me jump a few times. I wasn't expecting the zombies to get up randomly later and this time start running at me... haha. Good times. Even RE 0 got me once with the zombie in the freezer, but that was it. Both great games, but the remake of the first for sure had a great atmosphere and scary moments.
I honestly didn't think RE4 was a very good game scare wise, it had a good atmosphere, but the fact the enemies just kept coming and coming made it feel more like an action game or shooter.
[QUOTE="Scianix-Black"]Super Mario Galaxy.Jadman131is this the new HAZE???
No, no, no.
Super Mario Galaxy was good, but not that good.
The first Condemned had it's moments, and MGS4 trying not to get spotted.
Anybody that says Dead Space deserves a punch in the face.. I'm twelve and that game didn't scare me what-so-ever.
:O
Don't you have to be at least 13 to sign up here? :P busted little guyThe first Condemned had it's moments, and MGS4 trying not to get spotted.

Nightmare Creatures for the PS1. I still have bad dreams over that game every once in a great while.KH-mixerXOMG!! I have not played that game for sooooooooooooooooooooooooo loooooooonnnnnnggggggg i played that as a kid and i had nightmares for a few days hahaha, it was a great game in its day it was brilliantly scripted for horror, imagine it with next gen graphics.
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask hands down.
How the HELL did this game even get an E rating?
hazelnutman
word.
I'm sorry to say it, but when it comes to games, I'm a real wuss. Movies never scare me, but for some reason I just get really sucked into the atmosphere of games.
The first Condemned had me pretty spooked at some parts, and I've only played part of the second, but it didn't scare me as much. Not when I realized I could just get angry instead of scared and then just pummel everything. Fun though.
That Alma chick freaks me out - not gonna lie.
REmake was incredible. THAT had me going. Probably the best scares I've had in a game.
Sadly I havn't played Dead Space... yet. Hopefully soon. It sounds phenominal.
Oh, and by the way, Majora's Mask wasn't scary per se, but that skull kid and moon were def creepy. Especially when skull kid made those weird chittery noises...

I like literally had that same idea like a week ago when I played the demo of it I have on an old Jampack sampler disc with a friend of mine. It would really be a great game if they remade it for the PS3. Any game that lets you beat undead zombies and werewolves with a staff while wearing a kickass gothic robe is a win in my book. I could do without the mutilated face though.
Im a huge horror fan. I dont think im cool or tryin to act tough or somthin, but its hard to get me scared (actually im a kind of scared of big heights), but i mean like Bioshock didnt scare me and Dead Space only scared me a little, But how is Silent Hill, Any1 like it, hate, think its scary? THanksJakesta7Silent hill(original PS1 title) is the scariest game ive ever played next to fatal frame series
