whats the deal with Orange box for ps3?

1) Is the release date set yet (Sometime in December i heard?)

2) Will the graphics be worse then 360 like stranglehold?

..Ive heard it has been having development problems, and obviously EA isn't the best with PS3..

haven't heard anything in a while though so what is the deal with orange box for ps3?

There are no dev issues, its just Valve outsourced it to EA to do. I wouldnt recommend buying it tho.teebeenz

Why wouldn't you? I think it looks really good and team fortress 2 should be great multi-player

TheOrange Box is a waste on the Playstation 3. I was going to get it for the Playstation 3 but then I heard it's being developed by EA and then it got delayed so I just got it for the 'other system'CSI24

This sucks so bad that this game is losing its hype.

I'm going to continue to have faith that EA will have a quality product ready for us fans in December.

I was tempted and ended up buying it as well and i have to say it is worth the money no regret, and team fortress 2 is fun as hell. I have to say that there is a significant amount of lag at times but aside from that its a really fun multiplayer.... portal is very intriguing and half life is well... half life its awesome hopefully it's just as good on ps3

Here's the deal. It's a great set of games. I have no clue when it comes out for PS3.

I'm sick of FPSs yet this game still manages to pull me away from skate and Ratchet and Clank. Portal is beyond words. Half-Life 2 took a while to get into but it manages to give me a feeling that a FPS hasn't given me since Resistance. I haven't touched Team Fortress 2.

I understand your reservations about EA, but even if the PS3 version gets, saaaya "7.5" I still recomend you get this if you can. At least rent it to play Portal.

It was never delayed, the reason I would suggest against it is the dev team whos working on it has already stated it wont be optimised for the PS3 but a raw port, i.e. itll suck. Avoid it.teebeenz

I don't think it will be that good, considering that one of the big people in Valve hate the Playstation 3 with a passion

I can't believe it I preordered this game from amazon weeks ago and the release date says november 15th but now it's december 11th are there any games coming out on time.

I love Half-Life, it's an excellent franchise.

I'll hold on with the buy until I see how the PS3 version is done. There is no need to support third party games that are made crappy.

When you do, all you get in return is more bad games. However, if EA can do it properly, without a shadow of a doubt it will be a great purchase.

well this game was finally released yesterday on the ps3 and i just read the ign review seems like a letdown compared to the pc and 360 releases. they say that halflife 2 episode 2 has certain parts which are unplayable due to framrate problems during large battles where you need accurate aiming and lose it due to the framrate problem. also it says loading times are increased in some parts by 5seconds which doesnt seem much. in others its 3 times as much as the 360 loading times! anyways i really liked the idea of this game but since it doesnt have very high pc specs from what ive read it only needs a 256mb graphics card ram n i got 512 ill just pick one up for my pc.
