My last game purchase was a pure fiasco.
I pre-ordered Tiger Woods 09 for 360 as i have a group of friends i play tiger with since 06 and PS3 was not out then so we just continued on 360 from ps2, anyway i got the email saying the game was posted but 14 days later it had not arrived i checked the site and i had to wait 21 days before claiming for a missing item.
After 21 days i claimed for a missing item form, twice over 5 days they sent me a missing item form with the wrong address on it(the form goes to royal mail so they can track the parcel, and with the wrong address on the form they would be tracking a delivery to the wrong house) i then phoned up and the guy sent me the correct form in 2 mins while i was still on the phone(why it took them 2 days for each form only god knows).
Now when filling in the form theres two options have your card refunded or have a replacement sent out, the form said this can take upto 28 days so i decided to go with the card refunded option and just order the game again so i could get it earlier.
So my delivery arrives and when i open it the game inside is tiger woods but it's for the PS3, i just decided to keep it as i didnt want to go through the trouble of sending it back and i have a few friends on PSN thats playing tiger woods, they also charged me £40 for he PS3 version even though it was on sale at £24.99 at the time of my new order, but i was not bothered about that either.
So thinking the fiasco is finally settled i get a delivery from play.com yesterday, and i know my next pre-orders are LBP & fable 2 so it cannot be them i open it and its tiger woods for the xbox 360, i asked for a refund not a replacement.
I go to the site to sort out a returns form but the delivery is labled as £0.00 and the other two tiger woods orders are now passed the returns time, i phone up to sort things out and i am told i can not get a refund as the order was free, i explain the mess and he puts me on hold and after 10 mins on the hold the line goes dead.
So now i have 2 version of tiger woods i paid £80($160).
Sorry for the long post, just thats the story of my last purchase, my other last PS3 purcahse was uncharted, after playing the demo i decided not to buy it last year as i had far too many games pre-ordered but i wanted a new ps3 game so i ordered uncharted, i paid £40($80) for it and the next day it was available as a classic for £14.99($30), my last two PS3 games were pure bad luck and my next game is little big planet im hoping nothing happens to that.
