It does the same as the 360 update for Cod4 did. Kill-cam for Claymores, Grenades and Airstrikes.. and better accuracy for the snipers or something like that.

Unfortunately, I don't think those days are ever over. I also noticed it added mute and first-person view for viewing your teammates.

yah sniping i am cool with but its the campers that just sit there with auto weapons in a corner especially hardcore, the patch was suppose to fix the host thing and it sure hasnt at tleast from what i have seen host left and the whole room shutdown, anyone have it actually work and the spawn points suppose to be better i spawned right in front of enemis a bunch of times already so i like the new kill cams though and the mute is huge plus,

According to IW The Host Has Left The Game part is gonna be active once the EU players gets the update (don't know if they have yet) But once the update was out in the EU too, it should be activated. They did try to get the patches out for the US and EU audience all at once. But it just didn't go as planned.
All the kill cams mentioned the mute option, better sniper accuracy first pearson spectating option, and if the host leaves during the game it is handed to some one else I belive
I believe the host patch is coming when Europe gets the new update. I heard that's what IW is doing. And I think the update also makes the game look a bit more crips I don't know but the options for spectating look more crips and clean.
