whats type of ps3 is better 40gb or 60gb

ok i want a ps3..and at eb games they are having a sale on 40 gb ps3's..and i am told they suck, compared to 60 gb ps3's..but the 60 gb ps3's are like 200 bucks more...whats the diffrence between them besides they cant play ps2 games

i think 60gb has four usb slots instead of 2 like 40gb and other slots like memory or sd card etc

The 40 gig also has the better hardware removed that was in the 60 gig. The 60's tend to have a lot less problems.

60, more space, media card readers, 2 more usb ports (so you can play rockband) and backwards compatability.

60gb's are the most reliable imo. ive had my ps3 for a year and a month now and i still have yet to have a problem with it

The only thing that matters between the two are the PS2 compatibitly. The 40gb does not do it and the 60gb can play about 90-99% of the games. The rest of the stuff the 60 has is nothing big to worry about. You can always put in a bigger HDD yourself, and you can buy USB adapters and the sorts for very cheap, 5-10 dollar range.

i thought they took the 60g off the market i went to buy 1 and there was none at best buy and they still dont have any more, and that was like 5 mounths ago.
