[QUOTE="AB_Uppercut"]Who agree's?, I mean UT 07 was going to be an exclusive but they now made it multi-platform, I'm sure if they make an exclusive for PS3 which is as good as or better then GeOW then it wil sell 4-5 million no problem, so whats stopping them ?!
I think Sony really needs to go out on a spending spree and get some exclusives from Epic and Bioware, you know major American games developer.

Luckily Sony is smarter than you, they spent the money on expanding their 1'st party.
Why is it smarter?
- 1'st party titles always stay exclusive
- 1'st party titles generates more revenue (no one else to share the profit with)
- No disputes over the franchise rights
- Talent/developers found and hired for the project can bring their experience over to other projects
Experienced developers do not just come in from the street, which is the problem MS is currently facing because they have all the money they could possibly want but not the talent, where as Sony has spent 10 years on building up talented development teams.
- Money invested on computers, motion capture equipment and so on can be used for other 1'st party projects.
In short 1'st party titles gives more bang for the money and you are ensured that the team won't just jump ships and take everything they spent "your" money on over to the competition.
And I do think that you have spent too much time in SW, Bioware is not a big developer and the developers do not have big financial hits behind them (the two System Shock titles were financial flops).
Interesting you do have a good point but third part support is also very important, without third party, PS3 wont have amazing exclusives like MGS4, DMC4, FF13. These 3 are my favourite games but I just want Sony to get a major American exclusive so the PS3 will appeal to everyone
