whats wrong with HS?????

ive just downloaded it and its not as fun as many people here say its only button mashing and also the demo its extremely short ive beated it in my first try and only took my about 5 minutesi think im not gonna get this game just didnt liked the way you have to play it(or maybe its cuz im playing NGS and i like more to care about evading and waiting for the right moment to attack rather than just charge against the enemies and button mash)

LOL! You sound like me in my preious thread. I didnt go so far to say that i wouldnt buy the game, but other than that i agree with you. I think i didnt like it that much cuz im playing NGS right now too. I do pull of combos in the game though and im not just button mashing, but so far im just not really impressed with the fighting system.

Heavely Sword is not button masher.

Like Ninja Gaiden it also is important to wait for the right moment and attack or counter.

Try seeing the depth of the game and you will realize it is far from button masher.

The demo is early stage in the game so later on, you won't be able to get by by charging in like a bull like Kratos.

I think that an action/adventure game with only an average combat system can still be a thoroughly excellent game -- God of War series anyone? GoW doesn't exactly have the best fighting system, but what makes the games great is the cinematic flair and the story.

So even IF Heavenly Sword has a worse combat system than NGS or whatever other action game, there is no reason why it can't be a better overall game -- there seems to have been a large amount of work put into making the game tell an epic, cinematic story...which I think would more than outweigh an 'average' combat system.

Actually God of War combat system should be considered poor.

As for Heavenly Sword, I was very impressed with the combat system.

Compared to Ninja Gaiden it isn't as deep, but compared to other action/adventure games it is step above in terms of depth in combat engine.

Do this turn of your motion sensitive thing and use x instead its better. It makes a huge difference, also i think that they should add a jump button. haseeb_1989

well many people ary trying to save HS reputation just by saying that its a demo and its short but the real thing is that for example the NGS demo was awesome and that was what made me buy the game why not to view it from a neutral point theHS demo did not helped the hype the game had and its not gonna be a great game but it isnt gonna be abad one either just one of the restpique86

For me I enjoy the demo a lot so its just your opinion. The demo is just like the video I saw I dont know why people are so desapointed because its just like the way I though before.

And for NG sigma, the demo was not so hot, it was the same demo as the Xbox version 3 years ago with the graphics revamped so..

I'm not saying that NGwas bad, I loved it but the demo was not so great either and HS is not like NG so I dont know why everybody compare this 2 games.

the game is great! i thouroughly enjoyed the demo, and i think most of the knocks against it are becasue of the demos length...which i think was too short.....but still lots of fun

also....ninja gaiden can be a button masher too, if thats what you make it. HS has alot of depth to it....and the gameplay ive found rivals Ngaiden.

I don;t see how people can call HS a button masher and still go gah gah for God of War. That game is definately a button masher, I really don't even understand why that game is so popular besides that the bosses are pretty hard. You didn't even get to fight a boss in HS. Here is video of a boss fight looks way more stratigic than anything I have ever seen in God of War. Fools may hate on this game but I know 90% for sure this game will be AAA. BOOKMARK IT!!
