I believe you dropped your PSP a few days ago. There's your problem. Might need a new PSP?

Relax and don't cry. Obviously, it is damaged. . . Go to a repair shop or buy a new one. It is the best thing to do.

WAIT! BEFORE YOU BRING IT TO SONY, DO NOT TELL THEM YOU DROPED IT, simply say, you were playing it, when it shut off, then you tryed to turn it back on and then tell them what happens when you turn it on, SEE! SIMPLE, just dont say you droped it

they'll know if he dropped it and they really wouldnt really care, theyd fix it anyway. IF you bought it from EB i hope you got ther warrenty they give you a brand new one no questions ask (i did it a few times), even if its smashed into peices they'll give you a new one (For no extra cost);.
