Whats wrong with PS3s

So far I've had 2 ps3's in a month one works for 3 weeks and then breaks and my other one failed out of the box. Both of them had the same problem they went green and then a yellow bar appeared then the beeps and a red flashing light. So is this a huge problem or am I just really really really really really unlucky.

I am furious at sony i had my wii for almost 2 years and not one problem with it. Not even a scratched disc and my ps3 doesn't even last a month. What really annoys me is I just got rock band which cost $170. Maybe I should return and buy an Xbox 360.gangstaa9

It's under warranty, so send it to Sony. Then sell your PS3 or return it to the store so others who do want a PS3 can enjoy it.anewperfectday

I know that if I wanted a Ps3 or a 360 or a wii and it kept messing up on me I would see what is going on and try my best to get it working... I mean the last thing I would do is go buy the machine I didnt want in the first place...

Ive had my ps3 for about 5 months and.... KaPloof.... it broke.... waitin for Sony to fix it or give me a replacement or somthin

Mercedes, Ferrari, Rolls Royce and even Mighty PS3 can brake, Xbox too.

Wow thats a crazy amount of consoles to go thorugh, i had a ps1 for about 4 years with no problem it worked fine even after i sold it on.

My ps2 i had for about 2 years no problems at all i sold it to get a xbox.

Had an xbox for about 5 years without a problem eventually the disc tray got stuck so its unusable. So ive only had problems with one of my consoles and thats xbox.

Oh my bros N64 broke but it think thats just the av cable not the console. Never had a problem with sony products!

i have 3 ps1's two grey and the psone (all lasted over 10 years or whatever), i had a ps2 (launch ps2, had it 6 years, then sold it) just got my ps3 (launch- still going). Have a gamecube and a nes, snes, dc, saturn... (all still work)

But... Ive been through 3 xbox 360s in the last 2 years... theyre the console with hardware problems....

not the ps3 and not nintendo.... i think most of this is fanboyism.
