I Just Got My PS3 For Christmas And I Wanted To Know What Is The Best Game That Uses SIXAXIS?
Thanks

Folklore and Lair.
That's right, Lair. I didn't have any problems controlling Lair, not even the 180 or the dash.

I didn't have trouble controlling Lair either. It takes some getting used to, but its not as bad as people say.
Are there any other games that use the Sixaxis controls as a core part of the gameplay like I'm assuming Lair does? Most games I've played on the PS3, it's been more of a gimmicky mini-game type thing. Like shaking the controller where you might have to mash one of the face buttons, or some slight maneuvering that would normally be done with a thumbstick. In the case of Heavenly Sword, I ended up turning the Sixaxis controls off. It was easier to direct whatever I was throwing/shooting with a thumbstick than moving the controller, I found. BobZany
I completely agree, I'm so NOT down with the six-axis. Just seems like a cheap gimmick and it's never normal feeling. I wish developers would ignore it all together.

Same thing with COD3. Gawd that was a pain in the arse. Cause sometimes the PS3 doesn't even know what you're doing depending where you're sitting and what position the controler was. IMO, all sixaxis is good for is aircraft.

It's funny that you say that, because I was thinking of that while typing up my previous post. When I was playing the level where you have to destory the three catapults in Heavenly Sword, I was lying down in bed. The controls just didn't work in the position I was in. Sixaxis would have worked a bit better had they borrowed the sensor bar/camera setup, too.
Lair. As many said before I must say I have no problems with the controls.
I must admit I have the EU copy and of course that was after the patch that supposedly improved the controls. I have no clue wether there is any difference between what I got to play and what the US customers got to play (pre-patch and US copy).

oh ya and Lair
if u want motion controlls, buya wiij_sound
Um, ok, no.:|
He didn't ask about the Wii, he asked about the PS3.
Two completely different controllers, games and usage of said controllers. Effectively incorporating the motion control of the SixAxis can really add a little something to a game, such as Heavenly Sword and Folklore. Also, when used to fully control a game, ie, Lair, it can also work very well. There's nothing wrong with the implementation of the SixAxis when used appropriately and effectively.
