What's Your Favorite FPS and Worth your Money ?

It's soo many FPS this year as if this gen is about them lol talking about Borderlands, COD4:MW, COD:MW2, COD:WAW, KZ2, R:FOM, R2, MAG, and sooooo many more BUT, which one do you play the majority of the time with your friends and enjoy also online ? (not just from this list any First person shooter period)

the fps i play with most of my friends is halo3 because most of my friends have 360's. and cod4/MW2 are my most played

calling borderlands more RPG than FPS is like calling Modern Warfare 2 more RPG than FPS. They both are realtime FPS games that focus heavily on leveling character, skills, and weapons. I find Borderlands the campaign equivalent of the Modern Warfare games' multiplayer. It's all leveling up and getting higher level guns and skills.

and i must say borderlands surprised me that game is great to play w/ a friend

Im not a uge FPS person. My last favorites were ODST and Metroid Prime 3. Not on the PS3 unfortunately.

Almost every FPS I got, I ended up playing it much with friends. CS1.6, TF2, COD2, BF1942, BF2. All for pc. Halo and gears for XBOX.

They were all solid titles and not just some random yearly release imo. I sucked alot of hours in them, they covered my MP needs while RPG did my SP needs, but I don't feel much anymore for the genre these last years so I will most likely never get into FPS on the ps3. Last one I played was L4D 1 I think. I do still play TF2 occasionly.

I play MW2 online alot but my favorite has got to be Half-Life2

for FPS I mostly just play KZ2, hopefully I'll be playing MAG at some point.

If you haven't played a Resistance, Fall of Man is worth buying for sure. I'm having a blast doing the co-op campaign with friends, and when I've played it out I can't wait to get the 2nd one.

I can do MW2 online by myself but I like to play MAG with ppl I can count on.

Edit-If your talking about value though I would have to say World at War

Although it's not my favorite in the series, it has 4 map packs, nazi zombies, co-op, single-player, and multiplayer.

Toss up between Half Life 2, Crysis, and Resistance 2.

Bioshock and Bioshock 2 are my personal favorite FPS games.

For online play, I spent quite a few hours with Killzone 2.

Fps's are so generic to me you can really pick one thats the best from each consol generation and be pretty satasfied imo.

As far as this generation goes I would have to say MAG. I am so pleased with this game words cannot convey its awsomeness and I can totally see this game only having a growing base from here on. Its a great game it really is.

My all time favorite is Halo CE. My current favorite is Killzone 2.

There are so many Shooters that I have loved playing this Gen. There is MW1 and MW2, Halo 3, Gears of war, MAG, Bioshock among many others but im split between MW1 and Halo 3 being my Favorite FPS.

Bioshock 2 is my favourite FPS game, followed by Bioshock
