What's your favorite genre of gaming?

I like the mixture of action and adventure, MGS4, Tomb Raider:  Underworld, Uncharted, Assassin's Creed.

almost every thread i see its scianix making the thread :P

i guess its platforming, which i unfortunately havent seen a lot of on the ps3 lately.

You should've taken out "other," put Sports and Racing together, and added RPG.

My favorite genre is whatever genre Jak & Daxter or Ratchet & Clank fall under - sort of a hybrid of action, adventure, platformer, racer, and shooter all in one!!! Other favorites of mine include: Action RPG (Kingdom Hearts), FPS/RPG hybrids (like Resistance 2 = FPS with RPG elements, or Fallout 3 = RPG with FPS elements), Action/Adventure/Fighting (God of War)

I would group Uncharted in more with action, though. Sure, there's some platforming, but a lot more action.

You got Oblivion and Fallout you can buy or Eternal Sonata (pretty sure this is a JRPG)/Valkyria Chronicles.That should cover all the huge Bases of RPGs. (Western, Japanese, Strategy.)
