What's your favorite Genre ? (RPG, FPS, Sandbox, etc)

I like..

RPG (You need something major and complex)

Sand Box ( You need to get brainless sometimes lol)

FPS (You need to look all hotness and get tactical with ya homies)

Right now my favorite genre is action/adventure. Games like Darksiders, the Saboteur, Assassin's Creed 2, Uncharted 2, and Mafia 2.

RPG's were my favorite, but most of the current ones suck.

I am a RPG Specialist! But I do play all kinds of games. If a game's good, that's all I need ^,^

I like mostly everything made by the japanese and I hate mostly everything made by the west. Why? The west always goes for the dull and boring realistic look while the japaneses always make incredible games based on fantasy and things that are not that common.

When I play games I want to disconnect myself from reality and that's why I prefer to play games like inFamous/Vanquish than Call of Duty or Killzone 2. I know Killzone 2 is very sci-fi but the way they present the violence and other things is just too much for me, the same with COD and I don't find this fun.

Most RPG games nowadays get around 7 or 8 out of 10 because they don't appeal to everyone. Some of them are easier to get into and are shorter, but some of the third-party ones try different styles and are really fun once you get into them, but some people just don't have the patience for them.

I love most RPG's, though.

Platformers in general, but when it comes to handhelds, its rpgs for relaxation.

This is such a hard question... My favorite games are usually genre-blenders, and my 2 all-time favorites right now are Uncharted 2 and Red Dead Redemption. However, my favorite genre is probably FPS, because it's a lot easier for me to enjoy a shooter than any other kind of game or genre-blending games. The latter rarely work.

Sandbox Action RPGs, with FPS elements. :)

Well.. Hmmm, almost all of my FAVORITE games are RPGs.

I like sandbox games too. They can be great as long as there is plenty to do and see.

FPS is fun, but only in short dosages, and I could only buy one or two a year at most.

Racing games are fun, but get old quick. I love simulation racers because of the huge selection of vehicles.. I love cars and getting to drive different cars I'll probably never really get to be inside of.

I have little time to play so RPG are really out for me. Sandbox and FPS are my faves.

My favorite genre would be games like champions and baldurs gate on the ps2.. sacred 2 on the ps3.. so hack n slash dungeon crawling grinder rpgs.
