I have enjoyed all of them and still play them now. The first two are the best because of the way there played and the fact that there is no vehicles in them. If you learn to play the first Socom game in single player effectively then any other game of this type is a fairly easy task.
All of the Socom games have there own pro's and con's (mostly pro's).
well simply socom2 is the best, but if you plan on going online you should stick with Socom: Combined Assault. socom 2 has been suffering with some glitching lately online, but with SocomCA they just came out with the three mappacks for free, all of them with socom 2's best maps anyways. lots of people still go online (about 20,000 people) and hardly any glitching
I have only played SOCOM 2 at my friends house, and I loved the style of gameplay. But I have complted the last two SOCOM and I loved SOCOM 3, though it was alittle short.
