mines stays consistent at 70-85% rate...

im wondering if the signal strength can affect any of my online gameplay and downloading.

also, is there any advice for making my signal stronger?

mine is at 25-35%  for me its no that slow plus its free signal (using neighbors) i brought a 24inch dell 1080p monitor for 588 dollars with shipping which is a great deal. and i will then move ps3 upstairs to my room where signal is 20% better. Cant wait to play bluray movies in FULL HD 1080P!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure people can hack into your PC if you don't password protect it. That and I don't want people stealing my bandwidth.

Forgot to mention, the closer the PS3 is to the router, the higher the signal strenght. Also gotta factor in the things that are in the way, such as walls.

A question here... im not to keen on getting a wireless router and a cable through my whole house isn't a very good idea.:P I was wondering if anyone is using a USB Wi-fi adapter (like the ds/wii one?)

and if so my Ps3 is about 20-25m away and has 2 walls between

if anyone could show me a link or just tell me one i could use (considering the connectin would be stable enough to play) that would be really awesome.  Thx

Just get a wireless router. They're pretty cheap. You can find one on newegg for less than 40 bucks. Here's a nice linksys wireless g router. I use it myself.
