Well i think that its a great online program with a lot of potential. It will bring the psn community together more than ever, if sony can do this right..it may become one of the biggest things in a while...

I think Home is a good addition when it comes down to features, but they should replace game chats with Home, because if we'll have home then it would be no point to have default game lobbies on games, anyone agree?

i don't really have much of a first hand opinion because i didn't get to beta test, but i hope it will be all it's hyped up to be... and that it comes out next month and not getting the shaft like we have been lately.

Only being able to chat in Home would worthless. You have to leave the game to talk trash and strategize? I say no, I do not agree.

If your talkign about the idea i posted, i meant like actually remove the default game chat and add some kinda update where home can be implentmented in games which removes the text chats and replace it with the Home software, i think it's adamn good idea :-)

I really think if it can seamlessly get a group of people or friends together, coordinate on a game, and get them into the game it will be worth while just for that. I also hope it will have some sort of private chat feature. It really sucks not being able to accept chat invites from friends while playing. I use that feature constantly on that "other" console.

Looks pretty lame. Seems they're spending too much time on front-end interfaces and less on games.

Not sure why I'd want to turn on my PS3 and "hang out" in a virtual room with a bunch of other cartoon characters.

c'mon Sony, concentrate on the gaming content for your PS3-Blu Ray-DVR-Media device.

If they deliver what they are promising i think i can be good. I like the idea that you can play videos on TVs in the game and show them to friends. Now if they could make it so you can watch dvds with your friends that would be really nice but i have a feeling that won't happen.

Its more of a will see latter. In full form and bugged out, it should be pretty interesting. It is its own world in a sense, while also a hub for online. Working at full, I dont see how it can be bad. Its not like a game where you say "Oh this blows." So one can only think, "that kinda a cool way to do it." But alot to be done yet their also.

I have yet to see anything in Home that truly interests me. So, you can go to a movie theater and watch videos? Why not just put up a list of videos and watch them from there. I have zero interest in decorating a virtual apartment or dressing up a little character.

Then there is the thing with launching a game from Home. This is how I play multiplayer games. I start up a lobby and send out invites. Once I get one or two people in, we launch the game and invite other people as they pop online. Why would I want to launch Home, just to sit in a room to then launch the game we want to play?

I will say this. I'm glad Sony is trying something different. Maybe I will be blown away by the final product. Right now, I have little interest.
