I'm like Veruca Salt over here when it comes to Home. ...I want it now!djHaQ
lol... :D
i don't really have much of a first hand opinion because i didn't get to beta test, but i hope it will be all it's hyped up to be... and that it comes out next month and not getting the shaft like we have been lately.
Only being able to chat in Home would worthless. You have to leave the game to talk trash and strategize? I say no, I do not agree.KronikKilla
If your talkign about the idea i posted, i meant like actually remove the default game chat and add some kinda update where home can be implentmented in games which removes the text chats and replace it with the Home software, i think it's adamn good idea :-)

Looks pretty lame. Seems they're spending too much time on front-end interfaces and less on games.
Not sure why I'd want to turn on my PS3 and "hang out" in a virtual room with a bunch of other cartoon characters.
c'mon Sony, concentrate on the gaming content for your PS3-Blu Ray-DVR-Media device.
I have yet to see anything in Home that truly interests me. So, you can go to a movie theater and watch videos? Why not just put up a list of videos and watch them from there. I have zero interest in decorating a virtual apartment or dressing up a little character.
Then there is the thing with launching a game from Home. This is how I play multiplayer games. I start up a lobby and send out invites. Once I get one or two people in, we launch the game and invite other people as they pop online. Why would I want to launch Home, just to sit in a room to then launch the game we want to play?
I will say this. I'm glad Sony is trying something different. Maybe I will be blown away by the final product. Right now, I have little interest.
