I'm a Metal Gear Solid fan but i don't know all the details of this saga as much as i would like. Is it possible that the old Snake we see in the videos is Big Boss and the young one is the Snake we know from MGS1 and 2? Just a thought.
ok i saw the video i am more confuded then ever who was that young guy at the end don't tell me they made another snake and the old is snake is from mg, mg2,mgs1 and mgs2 right well either way its going to kick ass

It's the fact that he's a clone that causes him to age, not the Foxdie. I think it's the camo, but knowing Kojima, it could be another clone of Solid Snake or even another direct clone from BigBoss's remains.

But why would snake pose old? we saw in another trailer that he some sort of spazzum and then injected some serum into himself...he must be old.
Its old solid snake. Before he turns off his camo, you can see some white hair sticking out of the back. When the face changes to a younger looking snake, I'm guessing thats fake.
Why does everyone think its camo. What would be the benefit of Camo to take away a few wrinkles. One would think him being old and less recognizable would be better then him being the spitting image of himself in MGS2.
There's no doubt that there's no clone and that it's all the Octo-cam's doing. In the very beginning we see how the blood on Solid's face dissapears when the camo changes. And in the end just before the camo changes to young Snake you see white hair sticking out from his hut. It's rather easy to see when Solid is using a mask because you can't see the bandana (in the beginning and end where his face creates confusion).

Ah but what's the point of replacing the radar with a video of a half naked woman? It's MGS and Kojima loves playing these small mind tricks with us. But also as demonstrated, it's perfect for face paint or playing Mission Impossible/Scooby Doo. Also there was this onstage talk about using a webcam to generate 3D characters of the players. Many believe the Octo will allow players to use their own faces.

But in the trailers, we see Otacon has barely aged at all, if anything he looks younger. Not to mention FoxDie lasting over 20something years is kind of odd. I also want to point out this: would it really take that long (long enough so that snake would age so old) for "Liquid Ocelot" to cause another threat?

Old Snake is Solid Snake from MGS, as it says in the Trailer...
***Spoiler*** MGS 3: Eva and Naked Snake do it in the Ending Cutscene (Not actually depicted but implied), Eva Disappears....

Young Snake coule very well be the True "Son" of Big Boss...the offspring of Eva and Big Boss...

nope, that cant be true, Big Boss was/is infertile and for people saying that young snake is the octo camo at work, then how can he use the cigaette? im pretty sure you cant stick cigs through a mask

20 years has NOT passed, the reason snake is old and everyone is still pretty much the same age is because Snake is a clone and his cells are degrading faster than normal

My memory is jogged. Did Snake(MGS3) say directly that he was infertile in MGS3, did he say it during that time, because the effects of Bikini Atoll may not have occured right away, and I read somewhere that the effects of Bikini Atoll surfaced around 1970: encyclopedia.wizards.pro/index.php/Big_Boss Just keeping the Theory alive...
I think it was confirmed in an interview that it's the serum that he injects in his neck from the first trailer. It'll make him young for awhile. Ppl who say it's the octo cam that really sounds stupid... Why would he need to make himself look young... There would be no point he would just stay like that.
But Snake wants to "erase" the gene,why have a son?
