Hey I might be in similar situations to many of you. I've been looking forward to GTAV for many many (too many) months, and the recent multilayer reveal has got me further hyped. I'm also moving onto university at the beginning of October, with my birthday being the middle of October. I've already decided I'm taking my PS3, but being on a crazy tight budget as a student, do I spend some money on GTAV (£40) for the PS3 and play it for a few months, or do I use that chunk of money and some money from my birthday towards the PS4 (I predict will be out latelctober/early November) Any thoughts? It would be simple enough if I could play GTA on the PS4, but no :( Thanks!
Just go with GTAV. It should hold you over for a while. New consoles usually aren't worth getting right away anyway, so it's probably best to hold off, especially with financial concerns (I'm in the same boat) unless you really have enough set aside and really want to play some of the launch titles that you can't just buy on the PS3.
Yeah, get GTAV, the ps4 ain't going anywhere, and maybe there will be some bugs that get worked out by the time you're able to get it. You're jonesin' way too hard for this game to wait, anyway...you'd probably blow a fuse waiting.Â
